  1. Grand Theft Auto IV changed the way the series was directed imo. The realistic thing about it made it feel like you were actually playing as a immigrant trying to make it in the American Society. The Controls and camera (at first) are hard to navigate with... This jumping from one Era to another though... So it's good that Rockstar did change a bit of the things, but in that process they did remove the freshness of the "Grand Theft Auto" we all know and loved. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has that cartoony feel and the humor is something that kept you playing for hours non stop. It was (And probably still is) one of the best games created in it's Generation. As all good things are bound to be replaced sooner or later, Grand Theft Auto: IV took the plate, it did well.. But it isn't a remarkable change like Vice City - To - San Andreas. The Storyline in GTAIV is really interesting to me (I enjoy that immigrant lifestyle and what not)... San Andreas Storyline was amazing; don't get me wrong.. Sadly, San Andreas Storyline also jumped a bit off course after a while. What I am saying is -- It started at a Ghetto "Compton" like location... Then in the wilderness, then in a suburban like city, than in a Real classy "Las Vegas" style? The mission flow did change real randomly as well, from robbing a Pizza Joint with your homie Ryder, to robbing casinos with armed Triads. Grand Theft Auto IV's storyline did jump off a bit as well, but it seemed to keep it a bit smoother than San Andreas (San Andreas was longer? I think so, so it was probably harder to keep it that smooth at the time.) Overall, Grand Theft Auto IV is a really great game, during, and after the storyline... Then again -- It isn't a San Andreas, nor will it ever be.
  2. I'm currently on 'Late Checkout' for Ray B. I'm planning on restarting my Story mode because I want to pick some different choices over and I can easily get back to Late Checkout in 5-10 hours anyways. (Yes I have a life, Yes I lose time in that life after I play so many hours of Grand Theft Auto X3). -J.N
  3. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has to be the best one out of it's series IMO. Vice City had the epic storyline, GTA3 introduced it's Era. Then San Andreas just took the cake.. I didn't really pay attention to those Myths because they didn't interest me, I just enjoyed this lovely formula that seems to never fail... D.Eagle + Gas Tank of a enemies car = Profit! That never got old... even attempting to destroy a car that was down the street/almost out of resolution range. I've posted a comment on Youtube stating what I believe happened to C.J... From Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories the main character Toni Cipranni had to go into hiding for assassinating a very powerful man for Salvatore Leone - In San Andreas however, C.J did scam Sal for a heavy amount of money, thus pissing Salvatore Leone off... He could of hired Toni C. to assassinate C.J and then he had to disappear before Grove Street/ his allies got to him. That's what I think happened though, the world may never know. Another thing I loved about Grand Theft Auto: SA is the customization.. Sure the clothes sucked (Some of them at least), but you could pick your own style amongst the clothes that were in each shop. After 5 years I still pick up this game as it's a instant classic that will never be forgotten (Again, one of my opinions). -J.N
  4. I enjoy sniping down random pedestrians with a sniper rifle. I usually use Playboy X's loft as the snipe spot. If I'm not splitting peoples heads open, I am cruising around just looking at the scenery. I also try some odd ways of killing people. For example I will Pistol whip the Pastor outside the Broker-safe house... Watch him flee then get into a fight -- and just get close enough to let the dude I'm fighting beat the living hell out of the Pastor. Or I'm chucking Billiard balls at people... I just love the physics in this game. -J.N
  5. The worst way I've failed a mission was on 'Late Checkout' (For Ray)... I still can't seem to beat it (I've already done so, but I restarted my story mode). I was just gunning away, got to the end where I need to 'Escape the Hotel' or whatever it is... So I cook a grenade for a while, then throw it at the rest of the enemies... At that exact moment, a whole new set of heavily armed enemies come into the lobby and I threw the Grenade... I was just gunning away then... BOOM! I get nudged to the floor and all my armor + 60% of my full HP bar is gone... Then to make it worst I landed in the middle of the firefight... Niko taking his time getting up + Armed gunman just unloading the clips on the remaining 40% of your health bar... So yea... Instant Mission Failed... Sucks that I gave up entirely on that mission after that. I might go for it again before the night is over with... -J.N
  6. At first driving in Grand Theft Auto: 4 was hell for me. I was snaking and skidding all over the place (On Xbox 360 btw). You just have to take it slower and not "Smash down the accelerate" unless you want to fly out the windshield. All cars/bikes handle differently as well.. Thus making the realism more phenomenal. Still; to this day I am still used to the Comic humor from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. That's probably the reason why I didn't adapt to the Physics in GTAIV... Now after getting through the storymode (Now I'm doing it over), I just drive nice and easy. Also taking the time to drive around the city and enjoying the visuals can enhance your overall driving skills by alot! Practice makes perfect though! -J.N
  7. Rockstar could of just added that as a Memorial. I don't think they would want to add the World Trade Center because little Jokers could "Parody" the events... That could cause a lot of Drama. So in place they just added two buildings that may seem like a resemblance, but not to attract any attention of the "Immature and stupid". But; of course it's the Real World... Reality is sometimes harsh... But Rockstar might want to save their asses by NOT adding that. Just a guess though. " -J.N
