You could also use CTRL+Prt Scr/SysRq keys.. Then bring up Windows Paint and paste it, then obviously save it.. There is an scroll or slider box at the bottom of the save window, you can save it as a bitmap, jpg, gif, ect... Just another option if any one was curious as to another way of getting screen shots.

Unreal, how do you think of this stuff?? But it goes back to what I said in another topic, the infernus, and hotring are the best car for stunts. Do you sit there and plan this out, or just get a crazy idea as your playing??
-
It is hard to say I have seen to many stunt videos, Tho I guess if it is a first for you this would not be a bad place to get opinions.. The stunts or where some of them were done looks different, if you want to create another video or add to the one you have. Look on places like youtube to see what you could possible do, that has yet to be done, or at least recorded and made into a video.. You are aware that you can tweak, cars, bikes, even the GoKart to get them to go extremely fast.. Tho if you go to far they are worthless when trying to drive them. Best cars Infernus, w/NOS and Hydraulics, HotRing racer (I still need to tweak the DAT file for NOS, and hydraulocs to make it really fly) Even the Comet worked out pretty good w/NOS and Hydraulics.. And the Gokart is one I probably will tweak and try after seeing your video.

LOL, I gave smaller wheels to the Monster and it did not work out all that good.. But made for a good laugh... I cannot see this working with bigger wheels on small cars??... I have to try this out.. The monster did not sit on the road, but in the road along certain routes, and looked to be hoovering off the road along other streets.. Also impossible to drive with out it rolling to one side, or getting sucked into the road.. If I ever bother with a cam hack, or play around with the replay files I will make a video of other things I did with the monster...Tweaks to the handling file ect...

Just delete the program, if you have it unarchived in more then one folder it will stay attached.. Delete it completely.... And keep it in the .rar. format until you have re-installed GTA San Andreas.. This is all I did to remove the IMG tool, and when I re-installed San Andreas, the IMG tool icon image was not attched to the re-installed IMG files inside any of the San Andreas folders... Like I said if it is attached it could be corrupting files.. This tool is a trusted tool for modding your game, but it stays attached till you delete it out completely, and your probably going to have to re-install the entire game all over again anyway... But there is no uninstall file , or anything, just delete out ALL of the files that came with the IMG tool, including the main IMG tool porgram, itself... Just to be safe empty your your windows trash can, after you delete out the IMG tool...

And to get the sound you need to create (example) maybe 3 different sound, one of the bike in IDLE, one of it being REVed up till it is about or ready to shift gears, and one of the motor winding down as you stop.. The listed SFX web site will give you the main file (SC_PA example) and names of the banks.. The sound files in the banks are only so long in time, If I remember you have to match the wave of the sound plus the duration of the ORIGINAL sound file.. Then rename the NEW sounds the same as the ORIGINAL sounds, and then replace out the old with the new.. And import the XX_XX file back into the GTA install, audio\SFX folder, using SAAT.. If you are unsure about this I can extract and import the files for you... Using my GTA Audio files.... If you create the sounds I can do the rest for you, I would also try google or any search engine maybe even youtube to try and get the sounds from a harley unless you have bike you drive, or a friend to record the sounds that way.. Oh yeah you will also need to get a sound of the bike after it has hit high gear and the engine is maxed out...

I used the SAAT tool to export the files but you can use it to import files too.. I do not want to go into a long post, but I had problems using it at first following the provided Instructions.. I could not get my .cmd prompt to go into the hard drive directory so I just copied and pasted a cmd prompt into the San ANdreas install folder.. The commands did not want to work once I got past the cmd problem... So I toyed around with them, and the program to work... Create a SAAT folder, inside that folder copy the CONFIG folder/w files from san andreas into the SAAT folder.. Got into the instructions for the SAAT1.2 (I think to be exact) Open command prompt, from the SAN ANDREA intasll folder. Copy the SFX command lines, from the instructions, the part of the commands for the DIR, and FOLDERS, for where the extracted FILES are to go Replace with the DIR and FOLDERS you created.. The only other part of the line, you you replace is the FILE name, GENRL, SP_PA, ect.. The command instructions from the INSTRUCTION File, (comes with the program) did not want to create the folder in TEMP, and or create and copy the other files to the SAAT temp folder, so I crated the folders and replaced the lines from the listed commands that are in the INSTRUCTION file, with the DIR and FOLDERS I had to create.. Make sure you back up the AUDIO FOLDER, from the GTA SAN ANDREAS Install folder.. I hoping you know how, or understand how to use cmd prompt. This is a SITE with listed SFX http://pdescobar.home.comcast.net/~pdescob...at/sfx_dir.html Then use the import lines from the instructions, again replacing the DIR, and FOLDERS from where the EXTRACTED files are sitting, once you replaced the SFX with the ones you want to use.. This should be simple if you used command prompt and the instruction I have put forth are pretty easy to follow.. Other then this program I have not played around with any other one, so someone else may be able to help you, or give you the name of a CLICK ans USE program.. I did this for a mod vehicle, to get a Small block CHevy engine sound.. So an example of the command line I used would be C:\document and settings\administrator\my documents\saat\ OR the NAME of your windows USER FOLDER example JOHNDOE Or you could just create and use C:\ directly, C:\SAAT\.................... Easier to type.... Or open a notepad, and paste the commands, and replace them with the DIR and folders for later use if you want to replace other SFX files. and SAVE it... So you always have it and do not need to type it in everytime..

Are you sure you put the right files into the GTA San Andreas folder from the Cleo .rar file?? If you used the auto install, you may want to recheck everything manually, I did not use the auto install. I went through the painful task of installing manually Make sure that the mods are MADE FOR CLEO!! I had the gravity gun, nuke call in, and the Improved Targeting for the Rhino, and the Speedometer/NOS/GAS, you get to use the gas stations, tho it was a really nice cleo script I got annoyed with running out of gas.. I backup all the .dll files in the install folder replaced them with the ones provided by Cleo, including the cloe.asi file, created a CLEO folder in the install dir... Open the cleo folder in the install dir,.. Got into the unarchived cloe folder, go into plugins folder, and copy the GTXHOOK folder and paste it into the CLEO folder inside your install directory.. Then put any CLEO MODS, into your CLEO, you made inside your install directory for GTA San Andreas.. Try this see what happens... If you used the Auto install, I think there are uninstall programs for removing CLEO, you should find it in any of the trusted GTA Mod sites. Then install Cleo manually... Hopes it helps out... I should also add that the A Cleo mod maybe the problem, some are untested and have bugs.. Make sure you keep track of what you install, some CLEO mods could be conflicting with each other and causing you game to crash..

If you uninstalled and then reinstalled the game, it should create a User Folder, when you restarted the game.. There have been conflicts with IMGtool2.0 and Windows Vista.. If you used or installed any other tools these other tools could also have caused this problem, I would delete, or if it is possible some tools have a auto uninstall, and get rid of them all, most of these tools attach themselves to the main install folder for GTA.. Could also cause the re-installed files to also become corrupt.. I also always save the .rar files, in a single folder, and also burn them to a data cd, as long as they stay in .rar (or archived) they cannot do anything, so if I do have a problem, I can delete or uninstall these programs, but have the .rar as a backup. I have not had a problem with ImgTool2.0, but I have had numerous problem with just about every editor out there, causing goofy changes in files, without me ever actually using the program.. I only stick to Imgtool.2.0 and G-TXD... And If I want to tweak (not mod) vehicles, peds or any thing else, I do it manually I junked most if not all the other editors, they cause changes in files without ever using them.. So simply delete (or uninstall if the tool has this option) any and all tools, these attach themselves to files, and can cause re-installs to go corrupt.. Something, else it could be is corrupt registry files, and for that you would have to get someone else to help you, I have played and deleted out these files with other programs, but I am not sure where or which files when it comes to GTA San Andreas. I do not know what else this could be from, other then a corrupt hard drive. Or your motherboard has gone bad. Usually you will notice this with other programs, or the performance of your computer has gone downhill, and it will get worse, or just quit..

I kind of figured that Rockstar just simply messed up communication between personal and things got lost or just overlooked.. It never really struck me to look at this part of the Img Archive, I could replace a couple of the Peds in the PEDS.IDE, files with over the ones that look to be typo errors.. But the Motorcycle cops, is something I would like to figure out, and put into my game.. There is also a Mod out there called "Thing to do in San Andreas till your dead", this really is not a mod but more of a remake or update to the original files. It claims to have all the Motorcycle cops, Bomb Garages, The Courier Mission from Vice city, and a ton more, including original building textures inside and out that exist in the GTA3 file but were cut. But I have not bothered to register to the gaming site in order to download it, hate that crap, you got to register to do anything on the internet these days.. I would rather bug Rockstar or get enough players, supporters to constantly hound RockStar to make a Uncensored, Uncut version of GTA San Andreas, and just sell it on from the official web site, make the people who want to buy it sign a waiver, that the buyers of the game are over 18+ and, even put in the waiver that the buyer can be sued for lying about there age, and any parent, legal guardian, that buys the game for those not at the age of 18+ can also be held liable, would actually be funny to see the idiots, whine and cry, when the lawsuits go against the people that really had no business buying the game.. I really do not understand why Rockstar just says **** it, and makes the game the way they really Intended and just sell it directly from there web site, with the (mentioned) waiver, that will get the liberals and conservatives to shut-up. And make another Version that is cut and cleaned for the general public.. Sorry for ranting, I know this is history, but I sometimes still get a little wound up over this... I am, well, I would not say hardcore, but I want to buy a video game with everything that the Artists and programmers itended to put in it. I have read and heard statements from RockStar officials that claimed San Andreas took the PS2 engine to the limits, but this limit in PC's really does not exist... If you build to the limit of what a Game Console can handle, you can build it way beyond that for a PC.. With the PS3 and the min., requirements for a PC needed to play GTA IV, they should have no problem remaking and adding everything they had originally planned for San Andreas.. But thanx for the info, It took some work to find those that out there that already knew about this, now I just need to find out who knows what to do to get motorcycle cops to work.. I have already viewed the main script, but I cannot get the Script reader to read the extracted, files out of the scirpt.img
-
I should also mention that it is also the PS2 Version that has the same missing peds.. And I also used the PEDS Editor tool, but peds that are listed in the PED.IDE file only appear in this tool.. And snapshots of peds using this tool took longer then just playing the game taking photos of peds as I notice them, was more fun, and took less time.

It depends on the mod... There are standard mods, and cleo mods.. There is the Cleo Program itself, which has a .exe file to auto install the Cleo files and folders directly to your GTA San Andrea (main) folder.. But you could also do it manually but for you I would use the auto install.. You install any mods that are for CLEO into the CLEO folder found in your :/rockstar games/GTA San Andreas/CLEO.. The Cleo mods are .sc (script files) but this is where this CLEO Script mods go. FOR .DFF and .TXD FILES You need IMGtool2.0, it can be found in any GTA mod site, tho I would only trust the top mod sites.. You will need to extract the .dff and or .txd files from the GTA3.img file found in your Rockstargames/GTA San Andreas/models/ (folder) Make an empty folder and call it GTA Backup, make it easier create another folder within that one called models (example name it whatever you want) place it on your desktop on in mydocuments, this is for backup FILES ONLY.. Then click the IMGtool.exe icon, of course after you extract the files in the .rar archive..This tool has instructions that are very easy to follow so this program will not be a problem to install and use.. Then go to the models folder and look for the GTA3.img file also simply seen as GTA3 it should have a different icon or picture to the icon, this is the IMGtool icon image. Click the GTA3 file, a IMGtool window appears, you will see menu options, if you are going to replace .dff and .txd files look at the name of the file the mod maker named the .dff and .txd file. Then back to the IMGtool window use the menu and the "find" option, type in the little "find" window the file name that the modder has named the .txt and .dff files, example buffalo.dff, it should be highlighted right click the file and tell it to extract it, you will extract this file to your backup folder, then right click the file in the GTA3.img file and delete the file. Using the "find" option type buffalo.txd, extract this file to your backup folder. Then delete it out of the GTA3.img file. Then you will use the "add" option, you will add both the modded files ONE AT A TIME... It Does not matter if you put the .dff or the .txd file in first, as long as you have both the .dff and .txd file in the GTA3.img file you will be okay.. Then use the "rebuild archive" once it is done rebuilding the archive you can try out your mods. Again ONE AT A TIME I have tried to install both the .dff and .txd files at the same time but it only put one file into the GTA3.img file.. I tried this to save time and short cut installing files one at a time, but it does not work.. When you first look at the files listed you think holys**t I am going to be here for awhile, but using the "find" option makes it easier to find the file you want to extract (for backups), and to find the exact .dff and .txd file.. After a few times of mods you will notice how the files are group, and will be able to find the files automatically without the use of the "find" option. If you have Version2 of GTA SAN ANDREAS mods will not work, CLEO and the usual .txd, .dff packaged mods... And I would not trust ANY OTHER TOOL FOR USE WITH THE GTA3 FILE.. I HAVE HAD AND I KNOW OF PROBLEMS WITH OTHER IMG EDITORS SO USE IMGTOOL.2.0 IT MAY BE A PAIN TO DO IT MANUALLY BUT THIS IS A TRUSTED TOOL AND IS THE MOST DOWNLOADED TOOL FOR THIS JOB.. IF YOU STILL DID NOT UNDERSTAND THEN GO TO YOUTUBE THEY HAVE VIDEOS FOR INSTALLING MODS..

In My documents, there is a GTASanAndreasUserfiles folder.. when you open it you will see saved files. GTASAsf1.b 2,3,4,5,6,7 up to GTASAsf8.b if you have filled all your save slots.. Make a backup of your originals and or the entire GTASanAndreasUserfiles folder.. Then place the ones you downloaded in the My Documents, GTASanAndreasUserfiles folder. Do not make the mistake of placing them in your backup folder.. Like previous poster said, if you have V2 and the downloaded save game file is from V1 these saved files will not work. Check the GTA mods sites and see if anyone has uploaded V2 save file.

If it is the Red Baron... You go after the van down near Hashbury, this douche takes off and you need to chase him, if you get him at a red light, usually he sits there, or hit him head on you can get him pretty easily.. Then fly up to get van near Doherty, this one gets out of the van the sec you shoot at him, and then the one on a bicycle, same deal with him or her they jump off the bicycle.. Then fly up north to get the other van usually in my game he is near the police station. In or around the "Downtown" part of San ferrio.. Then you go after the two on a motorcycle. These two really do not take off or try to out run you, but they will not wait for traffic, or stop at red lights.. Your game may be different as far as where they appear.. The PC version of this mission gives you a lot more time and gas to get this done. The PS2 version was a pain to get done... After playing this mission a few times you should know that, A, using slow, and slight touches to the controls keeps control of the plane, B, using the tail rudder on the plane, with slight touches helps you steer and balance the plane so you do not roll all over the place. without out to much problem... Another plane you can fly several times is the stunt plane, it is a full size plane found at the airports, this plane is the hardest to control, much more difficult then the RC Red Baron. Then fly the Red Baron and you will get better control. You cannot just upload a saved game file, and install it without losing what you already have.. If you are that upset or mad over this mission upload me a "COPY JUST A COPY" of your saved game file and I will complete the mission.. [email protected].... You get to keep your original stats, plus get this mission out of the way.

The mesa also spawns on roads along Santa Maria Beach,(his beach house) in Los Sanots.. I noticed it sometimes appears in San ferrio near the beaches, but it is very, very rare...

I notice when modding my GTA SA GTA3.file there were peds listed in the file but do not appear during game play.. I extracted all the peds, .txd files And used G-TXD to view the textured files, of all peds seen in story line missions and non-story line missions.. (388) files to be exact.. I have replayed the game and made a "peds photo pack folder". Pics of peds via the in game photo camera, and by also using the snapshot option CRTL+Ptr Scr/sysRq buttons. I go through the photos naming them as they are named in the GTA3.img file.. Thus a photos pack of peds.. While going through these I notice there are three different Motorcycle cops.. One for each major "state": Los Santos, San Ferrio, and Las Venturas, they are dressed differently, but while playing the game I only see the same dressed HWMC thur out the game.. There is also a Latino dressed in all pink that is listed in the GT3.img file, it is also listed in the Peds.ide file, but the spelling is different, no problem, after lightly modding my game and trying to learn via forums I have caught on, and can fix this... There a "psycho" and .txd files with the word "hand" that I have not noticed or passed up during replaying the game to make this peds photo pack. I did notice that any character that can be interacted with during missions is listed, but some are not listed in the GTA3.img, usually they are in cut scenes only. Or they were intended for Multi Player package.. Search engines and typing in all kinds of simple words proved worthless, when trying to find out if there were forum topics over this subject. So I was wondering if anyone else noticed this, or if someone can re-direct me to a forum topic, or a readme.txt file that explains what or why certain .txd files that are listed but were cut out of game play, at the last minute before the games release. I have version1.0.. I cannot really spark any topic with the ones that own 2.0 to find out what was added, or if these peds, and or characters were cut out of the GTA3.img file completely.. Or if they can be found in game play..

I do not know if anyone said this but if you are very careful, you will not have this happen.. You can open the recycle bin and click on the file it will ask you to restore it??? Click Restore it will show up in the proper folder or whatever folder you deleted it from.. You can also use CTRL+Z to do undo the delete.. The file will reappear in the folder.. You can click the menu options under "edit" and a "undo delete" or "undo" option will be listed... Keep this in mind..So you will not need to go through this again... Sorry if these instructions were already posted...
