  1. Why would they need to name the station after the kind of music they play? Part of the humor is the names they come up for the radio stations such as KDST, which obviously means the kind of people who listen to the music they play snort or smoke dust. I'm just curious as to why you think that would be better.
  2. ...unless they decided to allocate more resources toward more objects on the screen like people and traffic etc. One of my main complaints, as well as many other peoples' about all the GTAs is that the streets aren't crowded enough with cars and pedestrians and just objects with which you can interact in general. Just something to think about.
  3. Edited because I didn't realize that something awful was a satire web site until it was too late. I knew something smelled rotten about that. I still think it's a good idea though, minus the script they wrote. And the Mr. Doubtfire part.
  4. I really doubt it. And with regard to the comment just below yours: I have come up with a million different ideas for video game sequels in my mind and never told anybody, yet somehow they made it into the video games. It's just coincidence that some of the stuff you post on a message board would be thought of by the development teams. Trust me. I remember when Mortal Kombat came out, I though, "Wow. It would be cool if they had spikes on the ceiling instead of just a pit below." And behold, MK II had spikes on the ceiling.
  5. That's a good idea. But the more money and assets you have, the better weapons you should be able to buy your gang. Kind of like Vice City, only you get to decide which guns they have. You should also be able to decide which cars they drive and get custom paint jobs. That would be awesome.
  6. 1. Becuase only hippies would perfer killing people to animals 2. I agree. There shouldn't be a mission that involved killing an animal, although I really wouldn't care if there were 3. Comparing a handicapped child to a wild animal many times stronger than a human possibly with sharp teeth, claws, antlers, etc. is not helping your case.
  7. No, you weren't only suggesting wildlife. You were suggesting that the game not allow you to shoot animals even if you wanted to. That's totally different. Yes, wildlife should be in the game. And yes, you should be able to shoot it. But just because you can shoot it doesn't mean you have to. And just because YOU don't want to shoot the wildlife doesn't mean the rest of us shouldn't be allowed to if we want to. Also, I don't see the logic behind being able to kill defensless pedestrians in the game and not wild or domestic animals. What could motivate one to make the decision that killing animals in a video game is somehow worse than killing humans in a video game? Yes it does
  8. I agree. And when you try to shoot pedestrians, kisses should fly out of the gun and land magically on their lips. Then the main character should just give up once he gets a wanted level. And instead of carjacking, the main character should politely ask the driver if they would kindly let him borrow their car. Even better, the main character shouldn't be able to drive a car. He should only ride a bike because cars pollute our planet. And the weather in the game should always be sunny because rain makes me sad. We'll call the game Grand Vegan Adventure IV: The Search for more Hippies.
  9. I'd also like the interior to be a little more customizable.
  10. It's a model they use to program characters in games like Flat Out. It makes the characters' bodies act like ragdolls and just basically get thrown around with their joints being the only rigid parts on their bodies. It's better than having one animation for the way the characters react to certain situations. With ragdoll physics, they instead react in a unique way, depending on the force and/or trauma inflicted upon their body or character model.
  11. I'd just like everything to be more interactive in general. Environment, peds, objects, etc. I'd like the peds to interact with each other a lot more. And when they have characters that are a big part of the story, you should be able to run into them on the street doing their day-to-day stuff, without it being a pre-scripted interaction and having them give you a mission. Also, I'd like to be able to kill any character in the game and have that affect the story line. That may be asking a little too much, but it would be sweet. They've already started to do things like this in games like Dead Rising. And let's not forget the pathetic attempt to have multiple story lines in True Crime. But at least they tried. And can we have some better fighting in the game? Hand to hand combat could be really fun in a game like this. Especially if the environment interacted more and you could throw midgets through windows like Charles Barkley.
  12. Agreed. That idea is worse than a jump-to-conclusions mat.
  13. And at the top of my wishlist: I hope the setting for the game is nowhere in Europe.
  14. I want everything in the environment to potentially be a weapon - rocks, broken 2X4s, tire irons, etc. I want to be able to rip a dog's head off and have my character put his hand inside the back of it and use the dog's face as a boxing glove. I want to throw a cat on the face of an unsuspecting passerby. Whoever had the idea of being able to combine weapons is a genius. That would make it the ultimate sandbox game. And something medieval like a mace would be good too. Or at least the ability to fashion one out of the many objects in the hardware store.
  15. I at least hope the in the game I can skin helpless animals and sell their fur for money.
  16. So do you not play the game Fable because you can beat children up in the game? It's the same shit.
  17. I see a lot of people on here who don't want kids or animals in GTA4 and I couldn't disagree more. It's your choice whether ornot you kill them. Why not have the freedom to make the choice not to kill them? And as far as animal rights groups having a problem with killing the animals, I seriously doubt that would happen. They'd probably go after Big Game Hunter or any of the other games in which the whole purpose is to kill animals. And if anyone has a problem with killing kids in the game, let me tell you that they are probably the same people who had a problem with killing hookers when GTAII came out. Also, in the game Fable, you can beat the shit our of the town's kids. Why not take it a step further and keep GTA controversial. This game thrives on controversy. Anyone who has a problem with killing fake kids in a video game can just get bent.
  18. I've tried cleaning the disk. But I think it was damaged from day one. I've been getting small amounts of polygon pop-up for a while now, and the first day I got the game, I was playing and it gave me the message about my disk being damaged or dirty. And now that I think about it, the past two games I bought from the same store had the same exact problem. The good news is, I can get a new disc. The bad news is, I have to crack some skulls at Electronics Boutique.
  19. This is niether an easter egg, glitch, or secret, but a very fun and safe way to wage havoc in San Fierro is to get as many wanted stars as you can, then get into the magnetic crane on the docks. The cops cannot get you, and when the cop cars get close, you can pick them up with the crane and drop them on other cops.
  20. I know this isn't specifically related to GTA since it is more than likely my hardware that causes the problem. But I get really bad polygon pop-up whenever I play GTA San Andreas on my X Box. And about 50% of the time I try to enter a building, it stops loading and says, "The disc you are using may be dirty or damaged..." Is it really the disc I'm using, or is it my X Box? Any tips on how to fix this? GTA: SA is basically the only game I play and this is really messing up my experience.
  21. Correction: This is my GTAIV wishlist. Except for the cars rusting and being able to flash your headlights. What's that all about? I mean, I suppose if they had better AI for NPCs, flashing your headlights could be fun since pedestrians would react to it.
