Other people get Pave Lows, EMPs and fking AC130s. EDIT: Wait a minute, I just found the precentages for each care package and emergency airdrop you get. Look: So I guess I'm the unlucky one loaded with UAVs.

You're right on the money, the shotguns have frankly insane ranges and I'm amazed they still haven't been patched. Look at this, it's the shotgun attachment for the FAL. This is why so many people hate MW2, it hasn't been balanced fairly for everyone. Too many glitchers and hackers and nuke boosters out there.

They need more games like COD4 Reflex Edition to be taken seriously. As it is right now, it's just a novelty toy wheeled out for parties.

Have you played the game before? And is it new? Because I bought one today and it never got past the logo (Motorstorm Pacific Rift) so I had to take it back and get a replacement.

If you're accurate with shotguns then use the SPAS-12, that's good at a fair distance and is mostly 1 shot kill. I see why they call it the SPAZ 12 though, because a lot of people just use that on the small maps. Did you like the sound of the M21 when you used it? I think it's the best gun sound in there.

It's not as fun in this game though, even though the reload mechanic is more realistic, to a point. It's difficult to get 2 or 3 kills in a row with it because of the jerky screen. If they'd kept it the same as COD4 for sniping, it would be perfect. But that sniper guy on the 360 doesn't seem affected by it.

They could even have been more creative with the design, it's a Wii rip-off. It looks fucking hilarious as well, a massive plastic smartie stuck on every single controller. And if you're referring to Natal, MS say the lag flaws will all be sorted before release.

Recently I'm liking Metal, specifically fast paced metal like Slipknot, Pandora, Lamb of God etc. It's become my new favourite genre. I'm leaving behind hip-hop now, I still buy the odd album like Eminem, but too much of it is club music and dirty south music. Classical I'm liking too, and Opera. Still looking for a definitive collection of Opera and Classical though, there's hundreds of compilations out there, no idea what one is the best to get. Not your typical music interests then, but I don't conform to that anyway.

After all the talk about 'will it be called Arc, GEM' etc, the final confirmed name is Playstation Move. The amount of lag for the controller is 1 frame, which isn't even worth thinking about, it's so insignificant. It's very reminiscent of the Wii controller, but they perfected the design for motion control so I don't see why other companies can't draw inspiration as well. I suppose now with SIngstar, and Buzz, and Eyepet, and now this, casual gaming is definitely here to stay on PS3, for better or worse. I'm personally not interested, I will always prefer controllers for the precise movements and total control you have.

In terms of the 3 shot weapons like the M16, FAMAS, the Raffica pistol, they're strong enough without SP. Just need to make sure all 3 bullets hit, and then 1 or 2 squeezes of the shoot button and they're down. A weapon I haven't really used but is excellent with or without SP is one of the sniper rifles with the ACOG sight. The M21 EBR, quite lethal because its accuracy is the best in the game. Regardless of the stats which say other weapons are better, use that gun with the ACOG and it's like a more lethal version of the G3 from COD4.

Bump. I bought Battlefield 2 yesterday, and played it offline for a while. It's quite a lot of fun as you'd expect. Online is tricky, there are lots of good players there already so I have about 4 kills and 30 deaths. I'd recommend it, when I get into multiplayer I'm sure I'll stick with it for a good few months. Maybe more, if it grabs me like COD4 did.

I'm still on and off about this game, a lot of the weapons have poor recoil apart from the 3 burst shot guns, which are mainly the ones I use now, specifically the FAMAS. I think the TAR is really powerful and I use it a lot, but when I get killed by someone just holding the trigger down, and when I try it the bullets go everywhere, it's annoying. I've had a few streaks with the FAMAS, I'm definitely sticking to that gun for a while. If the AK47 was available before level 70 then that'd be my weapon of choice, but I'm happy with how it is ATM. The perks for the FAMAS are Sleight of Hand Pro, Stopping Power Pro and Ninja Pro, although I'll make another class with Cold Blooded instead of Stopping Power because it's powerful enough without SP.

'Tis all fixed now. Users around the globe have blogged, and tweeted, and all that stuff about how it's working again. It was just a calendar bug in the end. Sony have apologised, and they've given us info to get any lost trophys back. Just insert the affected game while you're online, so that you get the trophy bar back up for the game, then quit, then sync the trophys via your online profile and they should return. It hasn't worked for everyone, some people see the trophy bar and some don't, but regardless you'll get the trophys back, you just might not be able to see them, but they'll be there. If you compare trophys with a friend, you'll see you still have them. I haven't tried it, but I trust Sony on this. So all is well. It was only a day without PS3, I'd like to have seen the reactions if it was a month.
