I can see why this took a long time to make - the car models are superbly detailed, the blur effects are excellent, and the interface looks even slicker than usual. A seriously good job Skyliner. If only I had a good PC, I would definitely want this as a mod.

I need to do a re-sit for one of my Uni bits of work, my Major Project. Might go in tomorrow to see if I can pick up the failed work so I can make changes and do what needs to be done. I applied to loads of places for a part time job and received no replies. I asked for a non paid placement for my work experience several months back and didn't get a place, but I still passed after working with my dad. So people are reluctant to hire anyone it seems, even in a non paid position. I guess robbing banks is always an option eh. Have also been quoted again in the new Play mag out in early August. Have been quoted for at least the last 6 months in a row in there.

I was surprised when I Googled mine. In lower case letters, I'm result 7 on page 1, and in upper case, so The Bossman, I'm result 2 on page 1. The whole concept of having no physical copies of a game doesn't appeal to me. I like to have the option to look at the game case and booklet, and know that my game is safe at all times in the gamebox rather than on a server. Plus it's not going to work in the UK because most people aren't even on 5 Mbps which is the bare minimum requirement, this computer is a maximum of 4 so I have no interest atm.

Haven't posted here yet, I think. Anyway. The main character not talking was obviously stupid, how many lead characters in a story-driven action game like GTA3 are there who don't speak? I thought it was stupid at the time when it came out, even worse now. The inclusion of the Dodo was largely pointless, hardly anyone could fly it and the tutorials didn't help me at all. Having no map when you pause the game was a big hindrance, and led to lots of overlong routes. Being shot at every time you re-entered Chinatown and the mafioso near Salvatores place got annoying quickly. The game is quite short, and there was a glaring mistake where you could avoid doing 1 mission entirely, by killing the guy in a separate mission, WTF! I also wasn't a huge fan of the game, Vice City really made me love the brand but GTA3 just left me cold and still does.

Erm. Maybe you could use it as a drinks coaster or something, then. A weird thing happened the other day, each time I signed in I got signed out again straight away. I fiddled around with proxy settings and it seems fine now. I've also received friend requests from myself on a few occasions recently.

I did a BA Honours degree in Photography and Digital Imaging, went quite well throughout but had a few things to redo occasionally. Generally, everyone is scared of Uni, if you're going there with no-one else you know. I like pretty much all the people there, not at first, barely spoke to any of them. Now we arrange meetups on Facebook and talk quite a lot.

What about predictions for the final? I think Holland will win 2-1 against Spain. And Germany did OK against Uruguay, but could have easily gone to extra time with Forlans free kick hitting the bar in the last few seconds.

I finished Uni a few weeks ago, and looking back there were lots of late nights close to the hand-in date. All I can say is, properly read all your study guides and make sure you've got absolutely everything completed. You don't want to see a requirement you forgot about and the hand-in is 2 days away. You're not going to be asked for the work, the tutors will assume you're working all the time. Start assignments as soon as possible, or else you'll fk things up. Get a notepad and take notes in lessons, piss easy and helps a lot. I had to do numerous presentations there in a group, and it all became a bit of a mess, so expect to stand up and talk in front of loads of people for a few mins. Hateful moments those were. I was happy with how my Uni went, the people I worked with were good to get along with, and I have most of them on my mobile, on Twitter and Facebook.

That's good to know man, but damn losing your case like that is massively annoying. Hopefully it'll show up, I remember losing a similar thing that had hundreds of demo discs in from PS1, 2 and 3 and it showed up about 2 months later.

Right, let me give you an overview of what happened. I was loading up COD4 for like the 4th time in a row, because my internet was lagging really badly and I had to keep resetting. I had an error message I had never seen before, and I can't remember it either. Then I had another error, wouldn't let me connect to Activision matchmaking. Eventually I signed in, but all my friends are offline, their avatars don't load and it doesn't say when they were last active. Just a red cross next to all of them, and a 0 for the amount of people online which is a lie. I think I know the solution and will try it tomorrow on a new account, but just want to check if it's happened to anyone here. I was told to delete the account, make a new one and transfer the PSN details over. I've backed up all my saves, will I lose the trophies if I delete that account? I'm wary of doing it. Tomorrow I'll play a game to get one trophy, then delete it, make a new acc, transfer the details and will see if I can just resync the account to get that trophy back. If it works, then there's no problem at all really. Just putting this out there to see the responses.
