God sake, can't remember. Every corridor looks the same. I haven't bothered looking the last few days, I suspect it'll take over an hour. And I was overencumbered, I didn't want to throw away the samurai armour or the cowboy outfit, and I hardly have any items that weigh anything. Just Stimpacks and other stuff.

@ Mpilk, sure. The invite system is seriously FTL though. It works, but it's just so haphazard. I was playing some Fallout 3, on Mothership Zeta, and I've just realised I need a spacesuit I don't have. I think I dropped it somewhere on the ship, so, I have to spend ages looking for it now. XD

I had a shit session yesterday in multiplayer, I lowered my K/D by 0.2, which was annoying. I'm on the airplane scrapyard level on Hardened now in 1 player, just going through it for the game completion trophy for Hardened and Veteran, and then onto Veteran. I don't know the maps well enough yet, I keep getting killed from behind. Still, I think a few hours in private matches should help me learn them.

'Tis a bit early to start writing up Xmas lists, I think. Still, I'd want a few TV show boxsets, eg Friends and Only Fools and Horses, some PSN vouchers, couple of games, photography equipment, and maybe a few other things. Haven't really thought about it but those have been swimming through my mind in recent weeks.

I think I'm level 47 or 48, still a while away from reaching my first prestige. I plan on going every prestige again, but haven't decided yet, because it'll take ages. The airdrops are pretty good, as long as you use it when around your teammates, and not in the open. I got a chopper gunner the other day on one of my secondary accounts, but the bastards hid in the buildings. ATM I'm working my way through the campaign on Hardened, for the trophy by finishing the game, then onto Veteran difficulty.

I feel quite proud today. I had a look at the Hitman 2 soundtrack on iTunes, and there's a link to an iMix there, which is a compilation of songs you can make yourself and then publish so others can listen and maybe buy some. Well, the top rated iMix is my one, called 'Different Song Mixes'. My description of it is: So, how many iMixes do you have on iTunes, on full view for everyone to see? There's only a few Hitman 2 songs on there, but I selected probably the best ones. If you have iTunes, click this link and it'll take you there - http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewIMix?id=334850275&s=143444

I think it's pretty good in bursts, with stopping power. Prolonged fire will completely expose you, and the bullets will fly all over the place. What surprises me is how you can have silencers for the LMGs. I'd think the Steyr with a silencer would be deadly. I steal a lot of kills It's not my problem they can't kill them when they're standing inches away from each other. I'm passing by, empty a few bullets and I get their kill. And I haven't seen the nuke used yet, although when I get to unlock it, I could potentially try it out myself. My highest current killstreak is 23, surely it's a matter of time until I get higher than that? Will be awesome. I've tried a few killstreaks so far, the early ones like UAV, Care Package and Predator I used to get a lot, but these days I'm getting the Chopper Gunner, which can I just say is better than the AC130, the UAV and Predator, which is my current set-up. Soon, I'll have the UAV, Chopper or Pave Low, and Tactical Nuke as my set-up, and considering I reguarly have killstreaks of 15 or more, I will have that nuke soon.

I was doing 1 player Spec Ops about 3 hours ago on MW2, and it's quite hard. I haven't even tried 3 stars yet, 2 stars is hard enough at the moment. I have 4 areas unlocked, but need 40 stars for the last area and that'll be tough. BTW, I still haven't played with a friend online yet, I don't like the new Invite system, the previous one worked fine.

Thanks TM. I'm also in competition with a PSN friend. As of yesterday, his kill/death was 2.22, and so I'm trying to beat him. Could even end up at about 3. something before it levels out and stays around the same number, hopefully. I'd like it to be about 3.50 or something like that, ideally, but anything above 2 is a bonus for me. Below I've picked out a few weapons that I use, and I alternate between loads of others as well, might help: Guns: Assault SCAR-H, with the Bling perk, Stopping Power Pro, and either Steady Aim Pro or Ninja Pro. Red Dot Sight and Silencer, or Silencer and Heartbeat Sensor. FAL, no attachments yet, but is a powerful 1 shot gun. ACR, again no attachments but from 1 player, I know this gun is great. Might focus on this for a while, when I unlock it, might already have it. Sub-machine UMP.45 - with Bling perk, Red Dot Sight and Silencer, or Silencer. Powerful, good at close quarters but also accurate with single shot at long range. MP5k - either Red Dot Sight and Silencer with the Bling perk, or Red Dot Sight and Sleight of Hand Pro. Ideal on smaller maps, with SOH, like Scrapyard. LMG AUG - not really a light machine gun, more an assault rifle. Powerful, but would be better with a silencer, haven't got that yet. L86 - I use Red Dot Sight and Silencer with it, but there's too much recoil, so it would be best to just have the Red Dot or no attachments, the default sight is pretty good. Sniper Rifles Intervention - a bolt action gun, and is very easy to use. I've had a few good kills with this, including just 1 no-scope kill so far, haven't bothered with that yet, maybe on a new account. I haven't tried the WA 2000, but that's apparently the best non bolt action sniper rifle in the game, ahead of the Dragunov and Barrett Cal. Perks Marathon - I use this with the Sniper Rifles, good for relocating to a new spot quickly. I'd advise having a smoke grenade as back-up, although it's useless when up against someone with a thermal scope. Sleight of Hand - reloads much faster with this, crucial with the LMGs and on small maps. Stopping Power - essential for getting good killstreaks together. Almost everyone uses this, apart from a sneaky few with Cold Blooded, which makes you completely undetectable if you use silenced guns. Scavenger - superb perk, especially when you're using the SCAR-H, because you'll run out of ammo for that quickly. Just run over the enemy bodies to get some ammo back. You can complete challenges and earn XP by running over a certain amount of bodies and restocking, which is good. Bling - good for having more than 1 attachment, most common is Red Dot Sight and Silencer, although some use Red Dot and Grenade Launcher, or different scopes. Good for modes with a radar. Cold Blooded - for when you want to sneak behind the enemy, and get some close-up kills, or just to stay out of danger. Silenced weapons are a must with modes with a radar. Commando - a superb perk, when you get the Pro version. The standard version, you have a further reach when you knife, but with the pro version, you won't lose any health by falling from a height. You could jump off a skyscraper and then carry on into battle, so is useful for escaping from the enemy. I'm working on this perk. Ninja - think of this as Dead Silence from COD4, but an enhanced version. You're invisible to heartbeat sensors, and you move quieter with the pro version. I use this a lot. Steady Aim - not a bad perk, you have more chance of killing someone firing from the hip, but hip accuracy is usually pretty good anyway. The perk is good for no-scopers and always will be. I would advice against using Sitrep and Scrambler. Sitrep because not many people lay Claymores and C4 any more, which is weird. Maybe they do in the hardcore modes, but I haven't encountered many Claymores yet, and Scrambler because it's obvious to an enemy when you're nearby, but the upside is their radar will be useless. It might be good to camp, lay a claymore and hide, because their radars will be worthless. @ Steam, you gotta be a good shot with the SCAR. With a silencer, it's deadly. I use it most of the time, I like it. Just use the Scavenger perk and take ammo from your enemies.

I set up the topic so people could organise sessions together, but it clearly hasn't worked. Still, when we're online, it's not exactly hard to invite each other. I'll be online in about half an hour, on MW2. Feel free to invite me if you want, on PS3. Just send me a friend request - the_bossman222 and I'll accept. Just say you're from TGTAP first, so I know who you are.

I love how there are so many more points to earn. The challenges you get during the game, like first kill, multi-kill, etc, you can get them every match, potentially, which is superb. Not like COD4, when once you'd completed a challenge, that was it until the next prestige. I'm really pwning everyone so far in this game, I have a K/D of 1.87, which is rising with every match I play, and yesterday I was in the top 62,000 for score, rising about 200,000 places in the process. My absolute favourite weapon is the SCAR assault rifle, with the Bling perk, Stopping Power Pro and Steady Aim Pro, with Red Dot Sight and Silencer as the attachments. I use that almost every match, and it's really hard to play against. I also use the heartbeat Sensor quite a bit too, so that I still have a radar when everyone else is struggling. Again, Heartbeat Sensor and Silencer, or Red Dot Sight and Silencer, 2 best combinations you can have. I vary with the weapon classes as well, so don't think you can identify me, lol.

My main focus is the multiplayer. I'll do the Spec Ops at some point, but I really want to be ranked very highly in multiplayer, mainly for Score and Kills, and have a high kill/death ratio as well. Mine's about 1.50 currently, but it was over 2. It'll fluctuate over time, before settling down. 2 of my friends are ranked in, like, the top 1500 for kills. They got the game about 4 days early. I think my new favourite perks are Sleight of Hand and Bling, both are great, especially the Pro versions. A bit surprising there aren't that many perks, most of the stuff has been moved to Equipment now, but at least Juggern00b and n00bydom have been removed.

Let me clarify, there were about 2 or 3 missions I found linear, that's it. All the others, and I haven't finished the game yet, I'm in the airport yard, have been amazing and designed so perfectly, I just can't fault them. I'm further in the game at this point than I was with COD4, so I actually think it's shorter, which is just pathetic. BIG SPOILERS BELOW: The dedicated servers is what usually elevates PC games above console ones, as well as the free DLC. But still, you have to put up with it. Although the petition raised a few eyebrows at IW and Activison, I highly doubt they'll go back and change the matchmaking system. It would be embarrassing.
-
The only thing I can relate that to, is the Mount Chilliad from San Andreas, just because it looks sort of mountainous. Pretty thin, sure, but that's all I got.
-
Guys, guys, guys. There's lots of good games out now, surely you want to organise some times, right? I'm up for some MW2 from about 7PM UK time onwards, just send me a message on PSN, if you're on my list. Could be either Spec Ops or Multiplayer, I'm not fussed.

I'll post my review in about 25 minutes, I'm busy ATM. Suffice to say, it's superb to play. Short round-up, multiplayer amazing, single player not bad, Spec Ops decent, haven't tried co-op on that yet. EDIT: OK, so, let me get the bad bits out of the way first. I've heard the single player is even shorter than the small COD4 campaign, so that's not very good. The promises made were it'd be the same length. There's no emotional attachment with any of the characters, like there was with Captain Price and Gaz in the first one. From what I've played so far, a lot of it just involves them running ahead of you, shouting a lot, and killing enemies. No real stealth moments where they exchange banter, nothing like that. Last bad point, the American invasion missions are tedious at best. The mission 'Wolverines!' is the worst example of this. There's nice scripting for about a 3rd of the level, but after that, there's just a massive space with various buildings and places to take cover behind. It goes something like, defend this area, run to this building, pick something up, run to another building, defend the area, pick up a weapon, destroy the enemies with it, some more cover shooting before re-uniting in one of the same buildings again. Then, escaping via convoy. Hardly interesting gameplay. So, that's the bad bits out of the way, and there isn't really a lot of them either, to be honest. I'm just nitpicking really, mainly because of the ridiculous hype around the game. I haven't had a real chance with Spec Ops, but from the small handful of missions I played, it looks like a good co-op mode. There's lots of different situations to complete, inclouding a snowmobile race, and stealthily creeping through a snowy jungle, picking off enemies and dogs without being seen or heard. Also, in that same mission, Captain Price gives you words of encouragement like 'nice shot', etc. No idea why he's there, haven't discovered if he's alive in single player either. Don't say, please. Multiplayer is where the fun lies. The ridiculous amount of customisation you can have, boggles the mind. Titles, Callsigns, Emblems, killstreaks, deathstreaks, weapons, attachments, etc. I've probably played about 6 or 7 different maps in multiplayer so far, and the majority of them are awesome. They're massive maps, but not so big so that you miss out on a lot of the firefights. They tend to take place in smaller areas now, so I suggest you pick a shotgun as your secondary weapon, preferably an automatic one, like I use. Which brings me onto another thing. Instead of pistols as your side arm, you can now have machine pistols and shotguns, as well as pistols. It's amazing, and makes a big difference. It's like you have Overkill as your perk all the time. You can get attachments for your secondary guns, as well, amazingly. Red Dot Sights, Silencers, other scopes. Loads of stuff. It's not unbalanced with the secondary weapons, which is the best thing. Because everyone can use the 2 weapons, it comes down to skill on the battlefield, and a knowledge of the maps. I cannot emphasise enough how good this game is. Single player is deeply scripted, of course, but it's stil fun to play, if a little linear. Spec Ops, a worthy addition with lots of potential for good teamplay, and Multiplayer is what it is, the best FPS experience around. This game isn't worth £55, no game is, but get it from a place like Sainsburys or Morrions, where it's under £30 in both shops.

Still waiting for my one, it had BETTER arrive today or I'll be sending a furore of angry letters to Tesco and the Royal Mail.
-
Christ, that is ridiculous. Really, really stupid. I tried Googling, but it's coming up with torrents instead. My copy has been dispatched, and I e-mailed Tesco twice as well, so I know I'll get it tomorrow.

If anyone's still looking for sweet deals for MW2, and you live in the UK, you could potentially get MW2 for as little as £9.99. All you gotta do is trade a game in, like Uncharted 2, and you've got the deal. See below: And the link - http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=226884 So there, you don't have a reason to miss this game now. IN-STORE prices, as well. EDIT: BTW, are these the real presrige badges? I think they might be. They're much better than the horrible fake ones leaked months back:

Videos removed, which is a shame. I don't want to watch any more vids, I don't want to ruin it for myself. Apparently Captain Price returns, his voice actor was in the sudio recently doing some lines, so it's obvious he'll appear. Might be in a flashback role, or even present day, he might not be dead after all. I doubt he'll be a Captain, he might be promoted a few levels now.
-
I know, I'm rather fortunate at the moment. Not only that, but I've been playing Fallout 3 GOTY edition these last few days, I'm awaiting MW2 from postman pat, and I have no lessons at Uni next week either, because of a photography trip. I don't think I'll bother going online until I get MW2, I don't like the idea of people messaging me about it.
-
Charger, nice. I've pre-ordered, so I have to wait another few days, grr. The final trailer's out for the game, now - I should check my e-mails tonight or tomorrow, I might get a surprise delivery. I don't expect to, haven't received any info about when the order will arrive yet. I might contact them later.
-
I didn't get Fallout 3 GOTY yesterday, guy didn't accept my fucking ID. I'm nearly 21 for fuck sake, but I guess I take that as a compliment. I look younger than I am. I'll get it today though, I'm bringing my old Connections card, AND my passport, so there's no way I'm not getting it today. Was playing COD4 earlier, single player, just in anticipation. EDIT: It was someone different there today, so I bought the game without any hassle. The annoying thing is, when I installed the game, it wiped my previous batch of trophies I had earned for Fallout 3, the foreign version which was given to me as a gift, so I have to earn them again from scratch. I started a new game, but not sure how long I'll stay with it. I might DL a save and then play on that instead.

If anyone here is thinking about pirating it, Microsoft will be after you before you know it. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=226629 MW2 is expected to break all sales records, ahead of its release on November 10th. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=226617 And, the last bit of MW2 news ATM, the first adverts have begun to air on TV. I suspect some of you have seen it now, but if you haven't, here's a poor quality shakey camcorder video of it: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=226639 That's the UK version of the advert, and a US version is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1TjoI2D9xs I expect more MW2 stories to appear before release, at least 2 or 3 a day. They know how to milk it.

Did you get your PS3 back from the summer house, or is it still there? Must be annoying, haha. It doens't even say when you were last active now under your PSN name, so it must be at least 4 or 5 months.
