I've seen quite a few gameplay vids now of this in multiplayer, and looks great fun. One guy was sniping on some scaffolding with a bolt action rifle and was kicking ass, had a couple of no-scopes in there too at close range. BTW, I heard there's a torture scene in 1 player that you take control of yourself, involving shoving glass into a mouth and punching his face I think. I read it somewhere.

I might be in at some point, wanna see how the first few go before deciding.

It's not a huge area they have to themselves though is it. At least they can't get under the map and kill everyone from there, even though I've seen people get under it before. Haven't seen it at all in multi, only on youtube.

My copy of this arrived today, I preordered it back in August and really it should be out tomorrow, but I guess I was rewarded for my dedication. I ordered the Limited Edition for under £40, cheaper than the standard copy and with lots of good extras. It plays very well as I expected, not exactly a COD beater but a good alternative. It's tactical in multiplayer like BC2, lacking in other areas like graphics, but that's a small fault. I'm very pleased with it. MOH Frontline in HD is still a great game too, and it comes with 46 trophies amazingly, and a platinum. Bit annoyed it takes up 6 gigs and you can't play it without a disc, although it's no biggie. I can see myself getting sucked into this like COD4 did, and that games iron grip still refuses to let go of me. EA say if it sells 3 million, it'll get a sequel. I hope so.

It's basically common knowledge that dedicated servers have to have a fee attached to them. It's applied to numerous COD games in the past including WAW and COD4, and even games like Bad Company 2 require a fee to use dedicated servers, so Activision are just following business practices. I can (sort of) understand disagreeing with homosexuality, many people do, but making you want to cut your eyes out? That's harsh. What do you mean by an "openly gay performance"? Are you suggesting that everyone who is openly gay is like this? Because that's just not true. Even 99% of the people who you can TELL are gay aren't anything like that. What about "straight-acting" gays like me? Do I disgust you just by existing? Would you refuse to talk to me just because you know? Watching their performance was basically a hide behind the sofa moment, and I don't know why it provokes that reaction from me. For those who are in the US, let me describe what their act was. They came out in shiny pink and purple suits, with a few similar backing dancers. They then took their trousers off to reveal a tight fitting pair of shorts, multicoloured, and the backing dancers movements were suggestive too. It just made me uncomfortable, and I'm like that around every gay person. It's only the people who are openly gay who snog their partner in public when it annoys me, or when it's shown on TV. I just don't want to see it. I have nothing against you or any other gay person, it's just the flamboyant openly gay people that irritate and annoy me. Bold: You say you have nothing against any gay person, but right afterwards you explain that you're irritated and annoyed by flamboyant openly gay people. Unless you are also irritated and annoyed by campy straight people and open asexuals/bisexuals/heterosexuals/homosexuals/etc. you just sound a little homophobic or insecure or something seeing men acting different than your preconceived notions/society's labels of male's. As for the OP, yeah, I'm interested in your opinions on people being open about their sexuality(if it's not gay) like Gerard was getting at. You say you don't care if someone's a homosexual, but it seems blatant that you do. I kind of knew that you'd jump into the debate as well. It's just the flamboyant homosexuals who kiss in public that offend me, and not any other type of homosexuality. At no point did I SAY that ANY type of gay person OFFENDED me. I said only FLAMBOYANT GAY PEOPLE OFFEND ME.

Quite a few games on and off. Red Dead Redemption, failing the missions to hear the alternative dialogue, as well as using cheats to feel like a God. FIFA 11 in the Career Mode. COD4 on a new account, aiming to beat my previous record. MW2, sort of, haven't played it in a while, on the DLC maps which I bought a few weeks back and annoyingly will be halved in price soon on PSN and Xbox Live, and some old classic MOH games in anticipation of the new one coming out in 4 days. Maybe 3 if my pre-order arrives early.

Although I find it very annoying to see openly gay people on TV/the street/wherever, anyone should be able to join the military because we're all equal as human beings. BTW, you say you support don't ask don't tell, but you didn't vote for it, so why mention it?.. Seems a bit stupid on your part. It makes me want to hide in a hole when I see an openly gay performance anywhere, it frankly disgusts me. I wouldn't say anything to them, but it makes me want to cut my eyes out. I'm just being honest, but I find it horrible.

It's annoying coming here once every 2 or 3 days and see hardly any new posts, makes me want to leave and come back when hard info of the next GTA is out. I am posting and trying to generate some discussion, but it ain't working. Hopefully your idea will work though, Gerard.

My dads computer is just the slowest heap of junk I've used, must be 10 years old now. Having said that, my PC is 8 years old but is miles faster than his crap heap. When you log on, it takes about 5 minutes for icons to start appearing, but on the complete opposite end of the scale, he has about 10MBps broadband FFS! It's at least 3 times faster than mine, although technically mine should be 'up to 6 MBPs' but never goes above 4.

The Black Keys were in GTA4, and they also have a song in FIFA 11, both sounding completely different, amazing. Also that Fat Larry song is awesome, along with basically the whole GTA VC soundtrack. Aprt from Kate Bush.

They're in the room I'm in right now, I count 36 but some of the games are in thin cases. I also have PSX demos too, my oldest demo has Crash Bandicoot 2 on, Hurcules, Felony 11-79, G-Police etc, really old. It's demo disc 10 from the original Official Playstation Magazine. lol. What do you do for your job, if you don't mind me asking? You mention cameras and lighting, so something in photography/filming? It's what I want to aim for, but getting there in the first place is becoming a bore. Seems every company is unwilling to hire people, stupid ongoing recession.

I like The Smashing Pumpkins, but their early work, not their newer work. Songs like Disarm, Daydream, Rhinoceros, and Crush, are excellent. Will post up the embedded links when I've done this topic. A great band I found on Twitter are called Untapped, formally known as FEFF. They're really a great band, remind me of the Metallica lead singer for vocals, and a mixture of bands for their music. To think they're unsigned is amazing, they deserve massive exposure. Arcade Fire are a Canadian band, and have had well known success around the world. At first I didn't like their newest album, thought it wasn't epic enough and many songs blended into one another. Thing is they wanted the album to be simple, singing about their childhoods and experiences, and I've grown to really like certain songs on the album. That's about it for now, will mention more when I feel they're worth mentioning. I hate people with really loud music blasting from their car speakers, and it's usually utter shite techno. It's like, 'how loud do you need that shit music to be??' Also, people who think they look cool but look like an utter dickhead. On the train platform one day while returning from Uni, I saw a dude dressed in a leather trenchcoat, with headphones in, sunglasses on, a tied back ponytail, and I believe he was on the phone to his mum as well.

^ There's too many good games out this year man. I will get Fallout New Vegas if it's for a good deal as close to release as possible. Then there's Gran Turismo 5, Crysis 2 and numerous others..

Anyone thinking of getting FIFA 11? I will be, but not straight away. I'll wait to see if the supermarkets sell it quite cheap, like under £30 like Tesco did with Halo Reach. PES 2011 plays OK but the dribbling system still sucks, crossing is poor, shooting is unrealistic, the fouls given are usually wrong, and obviously the lack of licences an annoyance. I didn't mind the demo though. FIFAs demo felt like FIFA 10.5 but I'm sure the full game will be miles better than the demo, which is usually the case with every game.
