So for example if you choose to upgrade, and realise that the upgrade sucks and is hard to use, and you decide to downgrade back to XP, it won't work at all when its downgraded back to XP? If that is the case, f*** getting vista, not worth the risk, even IF its much better I don't like the idea of not being able to go back to XP once its been upgraded.

so who won the super bowl? It was on FAR too late for me, it started at 1:40 AM.

A while ago at a party of one of my relatives, I think there was someone who worked for Arsenal behind the scenes, he might have been a coach although we didn't chat much so I can't really remember it.

watched curb your enthusiasm about 15 minutes ago.

don't worry, I have a great solution - a magazine I read (4-4-2) is giving it away free if you subscribe before 28th february! I think I'll do it that way lol.

The info is becoming slightly clearer now - it might NOT be for the rest of the season, it might just be 2 rounds of games in serie A and not the rest of the season as some journalists predicted. I hope they don't cancel it, mainly because it would be hugely unfair on Inter Milan who haven't been beaten this season in 20 games (17 wins, 3 draws).

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/6326513.stm LINK ^ The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has called off all this weekend's Serie A and Serie B games after a policeman was killed at a match on Friday. Officer Filippo Raciti died as violence flared during the Serie A game between Sicilian rivals Catania and Palermo. FIGC has also cancelled Italy's friendly with Romania on Wednesday and all matches until a solution is found. Commissioner Luca Pancalli said: "What we're witnessing has nothing to do with soccer, so Italian soccer is stopping." He added that the decision to stop the games for the duration of the weekend was not enough, and said there would be more meetings on Monday "to identify those drastic measures that will allow us to restart. Otherwise, we're not restarting the games." The game was already given an early time slot on Friday because of fears over public safety. The derby game was suspended after an hour when tear gas, used by police to break up the fighting outside the ground, drifted onto the field. There was fighting outside the ground, reported ANSA news agency, because Palermo fans could not get into Catania's Stadio Massimino until the second half. The two teams fled the pitch for the dressing-room, with the game suspended for 30 minutes. Prior to kick-off, a minute's silence had been held following the death of a club official from lower league club Sammartinese at a game last weekend. Atfer the match, fans continued to fight running battles with police on the streets outside the stadium and around 100 people were being treated for injuries. The federation said that another police officer was in critical condition, and police said dozens of people with lesser injuries had been taken to local hospitals. Catania club executive Pietro Lo Monaco reacted to news of the officer's death by announcing he would leave football. "I've heard that a policeman has died," he said. "To speak of football right now seems useless. For me this is the end. I will leave the football world. "I don't recognise myself in this world anymore. I have loved football intensely but after this right now it seems absurd." Palermo coach Francesco Guidolin was quick to blame Catania fans for the violence. "We won the match, but we cannot enjoy this victory," said Guidolin. "Football cannot last for much longer like this. There will be no joy in it." The Catania prosecutor's office has announced an investigation into the incident. Italian prime minister Romano Prodi also issued a statement. "After the serious incidents that occurred tonight in Catania, my first thought is for the people that have been affected and for their families," he said. "I feel a duty to say that we need a strong and clear signal to avoid the degeneration of this sport which we are seeing more dramatically and more often." Palermo had taken the lead through Andrea Caracciolo, but Catania equalised within 60 seconds of the teams coming back out thanks to Fabio Caserta. Palermo won the game with a controversial David di Michele goal in the 83rd minute. The rest of Serie A's games have been cancelled for this season, and I don't know if it will be the same next season or if it'll go back to normal.

crash team racing after completing all 3 crash platform games.

if one of you can tell me how to post the specs WORD FOR WORD, I'll post them here, but I'm in no way a technical genius so you have to tell me what to do very clearly.
-
I'm thinking about getting Football Manager 2007, but I'm not sure if my specs can handle it. I've installed a demo of it and it seems to work fine, but I'm sceptical about spending £25 on something that won't work. Also, I think that most game shops will only take the game back if theres a fault with it, and not if my computer can't handle it. If you need to see my system specs, then tell me how to do it lol and I'll post them. This topic can be locked when I know the answer.

I am disappointed with the lack of vibration but c'est la vie. I can't see just moving the controller without pressing any buttons being fun, for example virtua tennis 3. I won't use it anyway, so it'll feel like a broken controller... Well, I have mixed feelings about Sony right now, more on that later, @Spaz, I've played an xbox, but not an xbox 360, unfortunately. I saw someone playing pro evo on it in woolworths, but he spent at least 2 f***ing hours on it, meaning I couldn't play it... I don't mind the Wii, I actually might get one seeing as it might be fun for family get-togethers and is reasonably priced. I can't see myself getting an xbox 360, mainly because of the controller which I've always hated (I used the original brick controller and it threw me off forever.) The PS3 I do want but it's a lot of f***!ng money to spend, especially because I don't have a full-time job. As for the comparisons between next gen and current (well, last) gen, I haven't been blown away TBH. The only things I like the look of were Lost planet, metal gear solid 4, gta 4 and next gen pro evo. The PS3 game trailers that I have seen didn't do it for me, they looked quite average. I hope the wait for ps3 will be worth it, otherwise I'll trade it in for a Wii. ATM, I'm slightly worried about PS3. It'll be a year or so before the most-hyped games come out, and the xbox has a mountainous lead over it. Sony has left it too late IMO.
-
wait a year or 2 and see what stage the ps3 is at, it can only get better. I was getting my point across, because you seemed to say it isn't worth the money and is 'just an xbox 360 with some extras tagged on', when it very clearly isn't. The games will come, don't you worry about that.

I was watching Casino Royale on the website below www.peekvid.com Don't know how much longer it'll be legal so check it out quick. It has the latest blockbusters like Babel and Children of men, plus comedy like Borat, great site.

I could get used to it over time, but I would have prefered it to be the 'bananarang' design rather than the dualshock 2 design. Even though I really like the dualshock 2 controller, I would have prefered a new controller for the next generation. It shows a lack of balls on Sonys behalf.

Started scarface again, up to rep level 4.

I don't listen to it on the street, and I dont ever plan to. I only listen to it at college or at home, plus a few other places, obviously. The giveaway is the white headphones, buy a pair of black ones and always use public walkways and paths.

Actually DVD9s (dual-layer DVDs) that are compatible with the 360 and Wii can hold up to 17GB, so shut your mouth and learn how to do research. Besides do you know any game in the next couple of years that will actually NEED that much space? 45GB? Even with high-LOD models, huge worlds and 2048x2048 textures as a minimum, 45GB isn't going to be needed in a long while. And even if games were released with that much content, their price would be so incredibly high that nobody would buy them. I'm not saying I like the Wii (And I don't, it's cool for local parties and shit, but when I go on a 12-hour gaming binge, I don't want to stand up and wave a remote around, I'd much rather sit down with a controller or mouse/keyboard) But the PS3 is shit, 7 processors, unnecessary expensive media drives, non-vibrating controller. I wouldn't diss the PS3 if it had some actual, worthwhile, good-for-the-money features but it doesn't and so I will diss it. I bought a 360 purely for GTA4 and Halo 3, and possibly future games in those series, and that's it. I'm not a big console guy and besides those two games, plus GoW and some other titles, I really can't be assed to pay $60 for a game which I can't mod or play while on Ventrilo. No it isn't shit. Get your facts right before pre-judging a console. In the UK, in christmas 07, it'll be the biggest and best next-gen console.

^ It'll probably be against Bolton. Ironically, my first premiership match (if I go to the Man u one, it'll be my second) was Chelsea against Bolton, Chelsea won 1-0. I went because the tickets were free, so I was a neutral that day (the 2002/03 season). Tickets for man u chelsea will be extremely hard to get, especially if youre not a season ticket holder (like me, I'm just a oneunited member)

If it does come out, which I sincerely hope it does, then I'll buy it, and all of you who say its going to be rubbish and you don't want it ported, shut the f*** up. I dont have a psp and so I WANT it to come out.

I've broadened my music taste significantly since my last post in september. I find myself liking rock, especially classic rock, more and more with each passing day. Earlier I was listening to Hangar 18 by Megadeth, then Madhouse by Anthrax, then Them Bones by Alice in Chains, plus loads more. I also like some opera music, mainly Pavarotti (because he has many classic songs). Other genres I like are Alternative (Coldplay), Soundtrack (films and games), dance (groove armada), jazz (nina simone), Industrial (mainly terminator) and Jamaican (damien marley, k-jah on gta). EDIT - Sorry for the bump, I saw the last post date when I hit post reply, and desperately scrambled to post the stop button
