Part 1
The limo came up over the horizon, with dawn following in the distance. They'd been driving along the highway all night to try and keep hidden for as long as possible. The limo sped up having rounded a curve, so far so good.
The limo rounded another curve, to be confronted in the distance by two far off cars barring the road. The limo slowed to a halt in front of the cars. Waiting in front of the cars was a man in a white linen suit, smoking a cigar. "Kill 'em boys" he said to the men waiting in the two black admirals. Seven men got out the cars, each armed with an m4. They each aimed their gun at the limo, and pulled the trigger, unloading round after round into the limo. The resounding explosions did not stop them firing even after there was nothing left but a burnt out carcass of a wreck. The man in white put his left hand up, and near instantly the firing stopped.
The man dropped the cigar to the floor, crushing it underfoot, "You shouldn't have come back up north Tommy, you shouldn't have come back up north". The man got into the front passenger seat of one of the cars followed by the other seven. By the time anyone would discover the wreck, the man in white and his men would be long gone.
