Well, it's a shame most to all movie games suck ass. BTW, Crackdown is also a free-roaming game and is actually developed by one of the creators of the original GTA. Dead Rising is about a photojournalist trapped in a zombie-infested mall for 72 hours. Dead or Alive is a kickass fighting game with emphasis on speed and online multiplayer. And PGR 3 is drift central. The only game resembling a war game is Gears of War, but at least it's not set in WWII and has chainsaw bayonets.

You're saying Gears of War doesn't stand out? Or Crackdown, which came with the Halo 3 beta? (And was a good game by itself, albeit DMC3 difficult.) Dead Rising, Dead or Alive 4, PGR 3, and Forza 2 do not stand out?
