Yeah, the single player mode will be excellent and will (hopefully) have an ending. But that's only half the story. I don't really care for single player, I just love the online multiplayer!

I usually spend ten to thirty minutes per week on the phone with my friends. And about half the time, they're high. My toddler grew into a child two real-world nights ago and will turn into a teenager in two game-world days. And he's an A+ student!

As a matter of fact, I'm playing True Crime: NYC right now. Plays fine. I'm going "zombie hunting", e.g. shooting innocents with shotguns while I'm in the cop outfit, so I don't get a warrent.

Okay, you're talking about one of the most critically acclaimed games in recent years. And the ending you're describing is only to Halo 2. We're talking about Halo 3. Not the imperfections of the past games, where there was few. I bet it's only overrated to you because you've never played it.
