Honestly I didn't really like it either. I own the trilogy (all 3 of the 3D games) and my ratings would go like: San Andreas > Liberty City > Vice City

I'm not a tech expert, but is there any way to hook up earphones to a TV?

I can't really have the sound on... my parents don't know I'm playing a game like GTA (don't know if they'd care, but I'm not going to test that theory) ... if only I could use earphones or something.

I play with the sound off (are there any missions that rely on sound?)... I just try to look out every ___ enter time here ___ seconds to see if he's getting shot. He usually just says something anyway, I have subtitles on.

I was progressing along with the San Andreas missions, after Cesar's mission I figured I'd get to Doberman, but instead the portal thing was at Ryder's and I was beginning Home Invasion. Why did my guy skip a lot of missions? I was looking off a guide of missions that are coming up next and this one was way past Doberman... plus, it skipped over the countryside mission.

Once your out of Los Santos (must not say los angeles... must not say los angeles...) you can't go back, but you can always go to the countryside, San Fierro (must not say san fransisco... must not say san fransisco...) and you can go in and out of Las Venturas (must not say las vegas... must not say las vegas...) Sorry, I just can't resist calling the cities Los Angeles, San Fransisco and Las Vegas.

Yeah, I got the trilogy today and I'm obsessed already... so much for paying attention in school tomorrow. Questions: (1) When will I get out of LA? (Los Santos, sorry ) like the country and when will I then get to San Fransisco? Like how many more missions, length of time (estimated), etc. I just finished Nines and AKs so I haven't gotten far in the game yet. (2) How do I know when I have to eat? Sorry for the stupid questions, but I'm a complete 100% Grand Theft Auto newbie.
