What's w/ the little wheels? I never got that, I always used the larger "roller rink" wheels.

Does this happen at all Transfenders, or just certain ones? Is this w/ a certain vehicle or all? I had a mod that would let you take any car or bike for mods, but it had a warning about bikes in the SF & LV Transfenders. Jace has the best solution either way. (my bad, was in a hurry when I was on last time).

That was like 30 years ago for me, you probably know something a little more "current".

Pretty sure the HPV (Police Bike) uses a TXD that doesn't support color change. You would need the tools to extract the TXD form GTA3.IMG, & use PAINT or a similar program to change the color & replace it back into GTA3.IMG. I ran into this w/ some downloaded vehicles for Vice City.

Remember, gravity only goes one way, but it works EVERY time! Seriously though, what kind of physical shape are you in & how is your balance?

Another shredder! Best advice I can come up w/ is know your road. If you're new to skating, you'll quickly learn small cracks are your worst enemy, at least they were for me (LOOOONG time ago).
