GTA set a high standard so it's all but a given GTAIV will totally own SR2, but it still should be good. Developers learn from their mistakes, like Atari w/ the "Driver" series. "DRIV3R" was a huge disappointment but "Driver PL" was a good game. I'll probably get SR2 off e-bay or the game store unless it's in a special edition w/ extras. GTAIV will be pre-ordered as soon as my local gamestore can order the special edition.

Tiger Not even on it's BEST day. Even not counting all the computer tech, the main gun of an Abrams had no problem blowing the turret off Russian T-72s in Desert Storm. With the jet turbine they hit around 60 MPH & the hull is much more heavily armored. Abrams = RULE!!! Tiger = LUNCH!!! So in shor.....LOOK OUT!!! SPAM SPAM SPAM Damn drive by spamming.

It's a "hook" shot, as you go up the ramp, you steer slightly away & as you clear it you steer back slightly. This one made me cuss a lot, but I did finally get gold (PS2 & PC). Buy the savehouse across the street & keep practicing. Once you master that test, get the hang of controlling the "pitch" of your car while in the air. Besides, think of the bragging rights you'll have over your friends who couldn't do it. And if not, someone downloaded your save. BTW, are you using V1, V2 or V2 downgraded?

GOOD NEWS!!! (If Mishom/news staff already caught this, you can disregard) I just got the OCT issue of Official X-Box Magazine & got a pleasant shock. MS has announced a 3-year extended warranty on ALL X-box 360s (yes, that includes units already purchased & in service). The article says they will repair & upgrade the cooling of all defective 360s (as long as the warranty isn't voided by opening the case). MS claims the program will have a $1 billion price tag, but they decided to do it in the interest of customer satisfaction. Ironically, mine just started to show the symptoms of the "ring of death" . The one upside of "Rent to Own", dropped it off today & got a loaner while mine is being fixed. MS really stepped up on this one, full point.

Start by backing up every file you plan to edit. Make sure to un-tick the READ ONLY option under properties of the files you need to edit (right click, bottom option). Place the IPL that came w/ the mod in the specified directory (DATA\MAPS), now the game will know what models to call for the mod. Open GTA.DAT in the DATA folder & find existing line SPLASH loadsc2 . Right after it under add the following line: IPL DATA\MAPS\airpark3.IPL This will tell the game to load the mod when it starts. I'm not sure how important it is to keep it in that location, but it should have been tested & confirmed to work. Good luck.

Specifically, you want the wall behind Ceaser's house (between his house & the gate). Get a little flight time early on & you can upgrade your skill. By the time I get to flight school I already have a license, but you have to rack up a few hours (literally). There's a Voodoo across the street from Ceaser, grab it & move quickly, the gang usually doesn't notice me.

I think you can also "paint" the Police bike, I'll have to load the mod later & try it. Right now I'm playing Scarface, so I'm leaving the play disc in (if you have the PC version of Scarface, you know about all the problems).

Russian hardware is good, but they didn't make Ruger. I'd put my box stock KP89 against any Russian pistol. Same for my Mini-14 VS AK or SKS. There's an old saying, If you can't afford an AR-15, get an AK. Meaning the AR is better but the AK is about 1/3 the price & almost as good. The SKS is just a great little rifle & Chinese models can still be had for around $200 (US) & compare to 30-30 rifles. I still see Mosin-Nagant bolt action rifles for around $70, they are slightly hotter than the 30-06 (Same round as the SVD Dragonov & T-40 Tokerov) & have been known to throw stray rounds several miles.

Concealed carry will cost about $250, probably get it after Christmas. The State I live in has "Open Carry", meaning I can go out in public w/ a loaded firearm as long as it is carried in the open. Merchants can prohibit this in their establishments, but it's never been a problem. As for the air rifle, did you guys know in the late 1700's, possession of an air in France carried a mandatory death sentence? Nepolean was that afraid of them. Similar power & range to contemporary muskets, but no report or flash. They also were a lot faster to reload. Gives you a new respect for the air rifle.
