DME43 Posted August 24, 2007 Share Posted August 24, 2007 Hi, Whenever i try to open up san andreas, i get a message saying 'Grand theft auto SA requires at least directX version 9.0' but i have directx 9.0c and however many times i try to reinstall direct x it still wont open up GTA i just reinstalled my operating system from media centre edition to XP professional, but now i have two separate drives; C, which contains the backup data for my sony laptop and D which is the one i use and was wondering if this can cause the problem Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Huckleberry Pie Posted August 26, 2007 Share Posted August 26, 2007 There are some programs that require DirectX 9.0c, but have trouble detecting them, such as Puppit, a machinima program.
