FrontxxRunner
Anyone know if the Steam download version is moddable? I would download it, but not if i can't mod it or downgrade it so it can be modded.
Chris
It most likely isn't, I also don't know if the downgrader will work, perhaps you could ask in the pinned downgrade topic and see if anyone else has tried it.
Quicksilver
nope, its version 3.0 i just bought the GTA complete package (GTA 3,VC,SA) and it will crash when using a trainer, if you try to install a car it wont open. ive heard some people got SAMP to work but i dont know how well if you buy it maybe try going into steam and before it downloads right click it in the steam games menu and turn off the automatic updating, but i cant confirm it. looks like either people will have to find a way to mod 3.0 or downgrade somehow. zmoonchild
v3.0 is very similar, if not identical, to v2.0 So, maybe a v2.0 downgrader might work, but I can't confirm that. There are people who are currently trying to confirm all of this, if I get that confirmation, and then I'll update this post to reflect that. chris82
If you downloaded the Steam version, just replace it with a 1.0 .exe. There are differences between the Steam .exe and the 2.0 exe, notably that the Steam .exe changes the game to not require a CD in the drive to run. I did my D2D's like that, works fine.
