hi how r u all

my name is ahmad qamber and i am from kuwait 17 years old

i have a little problem with GTA vice city

u c i bought it few months ago and finished it and it is really wonderfull

so i decided to download some stuff such as cars . mods . tools etc.....

the problem is

that when i download a car

i can put the files in the game with IMG TOOL programme

but the problem i dont know how 2 put the handling of the car

i tried alot

i i am hopless i ask alot of people

but no one answer me i dont know y

anyone here can help me plz :'(

Go into your data folder, open up handling.cfg with notepad then follow instructions of the readme. Note that most vehicles have three lines in differnt places so don't get confused

You surely did something wrong with the handling, and you have to edit the default.ide file, and in some cases, you have to replace some colission files, also make sure that you rebuilt the gta3.img file, sometimes you need to do that more than once.

i do the rebuild after i put the DFF and TXD files 4 the car

i do it more than one time

but the problem is not with GTA3.IMG file

my pproblem is with the handling

every car i download it

it contain a readme file which has a handling stuff

wt should i do with it

i copy the line and paste it in the handling file

and there is some lines i put there places

but my game still crashing !!!!!

please help wwith anything

That wouldn't make a difference.

Are you replacing cars or adding cars? That's important to know. If you are replacing cars you need to REPLACE the handling, not just paste it in there.

Right, and sometimes the line in the mod comes with just a part of the line, so you need to check what part of the line is there and if its the whole line, then just select it and replace it

Now, you have to be sure you are replacing the right car

handling.cfg was messed

Most likely yours is too. I'd suggest you just reinstall your backup copy of handling.cfg (you DID make a backup, didn't YOU?) and try agin.
