So please help? i wanna get modding lol Try wiping SA away and reinstall it; don't worry, it won't ruin your game profile... Also, try scanning your system for any malware, I dunno, but it might work for you... A crack or corrupt install might be the cause of the problem.... Spoon
I've scanned my comp alot no malware and reinstall didnt work install perfect. it still crashes after pressing esc and the mouse still keep being rendered unusable. I tried change the compatability, that didnt worki disabled a service called "MTFCMONITOR.DLL" or something along those lines because it was suppose to be a possible fix. I just dont know what else to try, i'll try changing the patch and see if that works. Please keep trying to help peeps

*JAJ*
Like frontier says, make sure you have all the latest driver updates (video, controller(s) & computer). You could check your settings & make sure it's set to 'mouse & keys' & not set to 'joypad'. You could also try to delete the gta_sa.set file found in the '\My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files' folder. The game will create one if it doesn't find it. Hope this helps.
