Alkali64
Gah! So i start this mission involving a boat trip and some gay dude, until i hear a weird noise coming from my 360... An Error appears on the screen so i open the tray and find a deep circular scratch on the disc... It's not loading and i can't do anything about it... Steebs
If you have your 360 standing vertically there's more chance of it scratching your discs. Keep it horizontal and it should be fine.
chris82
You most likely switched positions of the 360 while a game was in, never do that. It's best to keep it horizontal as said above.
Alkali64
Ugh, forty odd games in my games collection and GTA IV is the only not working... What are the fucking odds!? I'm off to Gamestation... Get it removed...
Urbanoutlaw
Try a Disc Doctor or similar device to fix your disc. If you can't find one, take it to a game shop & see if they can re-surface the disc. I had good luck w/ this in the past fixing PS2 games after kids scratched them up.
Alkali64
lol. It's working fine now. Apparently it was a laser burn from me having paused it too long. Anyway, thanks for the help guys.
nickmcc369
It happens all the time for oringinal 360 owners(like me but i also have a PS3) the disk trays are to thin and they can move sometimes while playing a game...It happened to me with halo 3 and i just cussed the retailer of the game and got a free one Edited May 17, 2008 by nickmcc369
SuperSaiyanX
Gah! It's not loading and i can't do anything about it... I had that same problem with fight night round 3, almost happend with gears of war but it just nipped the sides Barely touching the part were the information is. I once rented dead rising and the same deep circular scrach was on it, I could only play on half of the mall complex and when i tried to go to explore the other areas the game crashes. You got it bad becuase thats the circle of death on disk. the game is pretty much useless then. ADVICE try not standing the console vertical you have a higher risk of damaging the disk. Skinny
There's a law suit involving this right now. The guy is suing microsoft for their faulty technology. Apparently they knew about hits problem but decided it would be too expensive to actually fix it.
Joelzaar
Even my bro's had this prob with one of his game's. The 360 has shitty reliability, good thing i decided to get a PS3 instead of a 360!
