MiniMental
Hi again, new problem the game was working normally, i downloaded some car mods off this site and installed them using the mod installer. The game then wouldnt load.. when i tried to load a game or start a new game, the loading bar stops at about 50% and the game locks up... I tried uninstalling the mods using the backup files and the mod installing program, it still didnt work... i then completely uninstalled gta-sa and reinstalled... still wont work... any ideas??? NSanityHD
Try uninstalling, remove GTA San Andreas from the Registry, Start > Run type regedit, restart your computer, then try reinstalling SA.

NSanityHD
Please make sure your running the correct version of SA. If your using SA version 2, and want v1 saves, please check out this topic: http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9134 REMEMBER!: The GTA Place is not responsible if this fucks up your game/computer. Huckleberry Pie
i am running V2.0, but thats not the problemas it wont let m start a new game from scratch either.. You modded a v2.0 install; Rockstar modified the EXE in later versions of SA, rendering user-made mods almost useless. You need a downgrade for it to work. JustADummy
Minimental, you forgot one thing. When you uninstall, delete the Root Folder from C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas.

*JAJ*
Have you tried deleting the gta_sa.set file? It's located in the \my documents\GTA San Andreas user files folder. Good luck hope this works for you.
