synias
I'm stomped on this one. I've downgraded and added car mods. The game starts and plays fine. The problem is that i can't save the current game or play any old saves. Instead of listing the files with titles, they are all listed as "saved file corrupted". can anyone help me? Sherman
Old saves are only compatible with the version you saved with. The saving current game... I have no idea about =/
synias
I've done a clean install, no problems. Added down grade patch and no problem. Added car mods and no problem until i save a game. the game saves as "save file corrupted". Could one of the installed car mods be the cause? If it still doesn't save, it eliminates one possibility at least.
synias
O.K. after a few reinstalls and trying the game with and without mods i think the problem is the down grade patch itself. After installing i am unable to save. the files list as "save file corrupted". I've been using a patch that auto installs. I've recently found another fie thats a "EFW" file but i dont know what an "EFW" file is or how to install it. Any help would be welcomed.
synias
never mind. I found out that EFW is a file with no extention. I changed in to zip no i have two copies of the patch and the same out come. can the default save file folder be changed?

synias
this is just to inform anyone who might have been keeping up with this. The exact cause of my problem was never found but i did find a way to fix it. For some reason i couldn't save under my administrator set up so i just created a second one and run the game from there and it saves fine, mods and all. Thanks for the help i did get.
