Bear Posted November 23, 2008 Share Posted November 23, 2008 My Windows Media Player recognizes one mp3 player but won't reconginise the other, whats wrong? Both are Zens, my MP3 is 8GB and works perfectly on the Media Player, but Im trying to upload music onto my Grandads which is a Zen Stone 2GB. But my WMP will not acknowledge its existence. It comes up on the bar onto he bottom of the screen as a USB with a green tick and all it tells me is that its now safe to remove. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? It will work with two 8GB Zens but not a 2GB. I have tried every USB port but nothing is happening expect the message its safe to remove. So can anyone help? There are times that USB devices such as MP3 players do malfunction or fail to have itself detected; I have a Nokia 6230i which sometimes goes nuts whenever I want to use its mass storage (read: flash disk) mode. DemonDelight Posted November 27, 2008 Share Posted November 27, 2008 have you checked My Computer to see if it reconizes it at all? i have the 2GB zen, and i dont use media player for it at all, i just drag and drop the songs into the folder.
