Erm, you may or may not know I work for Microsoft. There's no such thing as the "Microsoft IT Team", and we certainly don't use hotmail accounts to spread unadvertised, unofficial and false rumours. Accounts are encrypted and it is completely against the terms and conditions for anyone to use your account (although the relevant people can obviously edit or suspend your account if required).

Need more proof? He said "MSN users" - when in fact you're using Windows Live Messenger on the .NET Messenger Service - hasn't been called "MSN Messenger" for years. And the same people don't work on Windows 7 as work on Windows Live, and certainly developers wouldn't go customer-service or marketing things like this (we pay thousands of people to do that for us). And they wouldn't recommend a random game like that, certainly not whilst on official duties.

If anyone fell for this, fail.
