tommy vercetti guy
If you can, do it yourself, like the topic title suggest, or do you want to know how?

C.O.D
I don't think you can just transfer a Car Model from San Andreas and just replace a car model in GTA3. The versions may vary. Like, the lighting effects in GTA3, it's different from the lighting in GTASA. It could trigger a problem with the model's spawning.
Gerard
He obviously mistyped the title, most likely not a native English speaker. You can't just install a San Andreas car into GTA3, because they work differently. You would be able to actually install the DFF and TXD but they wouldn't work. You could find an experienced modder (someone who makes car mods a lot) and get them to import the car and re-export it in a format suitable for GTA3, but it is very unlikely that they would want to do that. tommy vercetti guy
Yeah because in SA you can pop tire, but in GTA3 you cant. And SA uses different lighting technology, unlike GTA3 which uses light cubes.
chris82
Yes, to convert the cars, you either need ZModeler 2 or 3DS Max with Kam's IO Script. ZModeler 2 is extremely cheap, whereas 3DS Max is what Rockstar uses, so the choice is yours. 3DS Max Free Trial ZModeler 2 DFF IO Script (3DS Max ONLY, needed to export to SA format)
