Should fur be banned outright?

I hate the fur trade and I thinks its disgusting how people think they cna treat animals like crap all for fashion. I urge anyone who agrees with me to find petitions and sign them so we can stop any more animals suffering a horrific death.

I hate PETA, sorry. They're way too extreme in animal rights, I woundn't be suprised if a member of PETA had sex with an animal. Its just nature, if we don't kill an animal, then another animal will kill it. Its just survival.

EDIT: Holy crap, I watch your video. I always thought an animal was killed, skinned, and all the meats were sold as eating meat.

Illegal fur and animal should definitely be banned, but some of the people who depend on them to survive, like Eskimos (thanks chrisman) need these animals, so for that reason, only illegal fur trade should be clamped down upon, like poachers and shizzle.

It wouldnt be so bad if they were treated humanly, killed in the most peaceful way. Then EVERTHING is used not just the fur. They are kept in harsh conditions and then skinned alive. The chinese are so cruel to the animals and its disgusting.

I don't think it should be banned outright, though when an animal is killed solely for its fur, i.e. you don't even eat the meat, then I frown upon that. But where an animal is killed and all parts of it are used then it's not so bad.

Well I agree that eskimos should carry on how they live as they respect the animals and use everything. There is no need to be cruel to these animals and the problem is with using Chinchillas is that they are endangered so they will be killed to extinction.

Also faux fur looks exactly the same so why buy something that once had a soul and felt pain to make a coat?
