GTA IV nominated for eight Video Game Awards

Grand Theft Auto IV has been nominated for eight, yes, 8, SPIKE TV Video Game Awards. Of the 25 categories, GTA IV has been nominated in the following:

Game of the Year
Best Performance By A Human Male (both Jason Zumwalt (Roman) and Michael Hollick (Niko) are nominees)
Best PS3 Game
Best Xbox 360 Game
Best Soundtrack
Best Action Adventure Game
Big Name in The Game Male (Ricky Gervais)
Studio of the Year (Rockstar North, for their work on Grand Theft Auto IV)

The sixth annual Video Game Awards will be broadcast live on 14th December, Spike TV Sunday, at 9:00pm ET/PT from Sony Picture Studios in Culver City, CA.

Hmmm very cool, I really hope that at least Michael Hollick wins because he did an outstanding performance as Niko. I wonder if I could somehow get tickets to this thing, it's being filmed like three miles from my apartment

Props to Rockstar. Best soundtrack? Maybe not though - a few good songs, sure, but a good 85% of them were shit, imo.

I'm with Rappo, Michael Hollick is an awesome voice actor - really put everything he had into the role.

Wow! at 8 nominations ! and definitely game of the year. and i somewhat agree with Earthbound on the soundtrack. GTA didn't have good soundtrack after Vice City.

Yea, bet they delayed it so they could release it later when they have won all their awards... Makes the game have a bigger release. Might even find the annoying awards printed on the cover >.<
