Good news at last. The only details I'm hoping we can nail down is whether it'll be mulitplatform on release, and probably the protagonist since nobody seems to shut up about it. I suppose I'll wait 15 minutes for the scans to hit reddit or something instead of buying the magazine though. I'm a terrible person.

I'll probably just get it for the collection. I have the huge Vice City issue.. I don't remember who brought it out, but it's pretty decent shape for how young I was when I got it

One has to cynically wonder if Rock* is just giving the nod to the Tweet, that they won't have a major article with insiders from Rockstar North/Studios? No Sam Houser interview for several pages? No one on one with Aaron Garbut? Etc? haha Well, I hope they will, anyway

I got a small collection from my sister's husband, and my own as well for the Vice City, San An era, I stopped buying magazines due to storage concerns and the fact they NEVER get any cheaper, but I did buy some for GTA IV, depends on the value for the content versus cost.

EDGE magazine, I felt they put together the best Nuts and Bolts of GTA IV article I can ever recall reading

Hopefully there will be long, long story about it, with release date n' stuff. That would be nice.

Do we know when they will release the Nov. issue or show of the cover. From what iv'e read GI presents the cover on the first Thursday of the month. That would be Nov. 1.

Andrew Reiner said it wouldn't be on the 1st on Twitter, or he wasn't sure, but it's gonna be definitely in the first week.

Besides creating a new thread for any members to report on what they see in their local neck of the woods, I put forth that anyone who gets the magazine entitled PLAY, report on what cover story they have at the moment for GTA V, and let me know about Uncharted 4, I must know all details on that forthcoming game!!

Don't bet on any release date, it's likely that they're pretty dead set on ironing things out before the release, unless you love being bothered by necessary patches later? The thing is putting the game to disc and in stores means everyone needing a patch has to go to the same trouble of being online with their system or downloading to a flash thumb drive, and update using that method I imagine

I stopped in the Minneapolis GameStop closest to me, they were unware of this breaking GTA cover story news, but according to that LIVE and IN PERSON source, the magazine won't be available to buy for a couple more weeks, so if you're anxious, better settle in and settle down, nothing is THAT forthcoming. Nice find on those promo posters, my guess is more promotional art in the weeks ahead, should surface again on Newswire, officially.

Your link is credible, so given that I heard that it might be the 20th or later, it was a bit late to catch the news when it breaks, if you were to go by what the clerk told me. You also don't seem to be able to buy ONE digital issue if it's for PC electronically, however, I didn't ask at the Game Stop, so something I'll be looking into further
