On an article on Spong it was confirmed that GTASA will definately not be shown at E3

Today we can confirm that the game will definitely not be on display. Talking to a Take 2 source, under terms of anonymity, we asked if the game would be seen. "No, we won't be showing new GTA," we were told. "Definitely not?" we asked. "Definitely not. We are practically doing nothing this year. Everything will be shown after the show", our source continued. "Will the game be on show in some kind of behind-closed doors capacity?" "No. It’s not going to be there," said the Take 2 staffer.

Looks like we will have to wait until June after all

well at least it keeps us all waiting, they're building up the suspense well.

On an Italian gaming site they have a list of all the games being previewed at E3

and guess what... among the games was GTA San Andreas.

Amongst other games that you may be interested in are:

Driv3r

MGS3

Call of Duty: Finest Hour

True Crime II

Burnout 3

The Godfather

Doom 3

Halo 2

Tekken 5

Gran Turismo 4

The Getaway 2

So we have a nice array of games to look forward too, i think the most anticipated is obviously San Andreas

If you look through Take 2's list of games you will also notice 'Grand Theft Auto' for Gameboy Advance

I found this article on GTA-SanAndreas.com

It says about a site that has some info on what kind of music we can expect to see and maybe about and online multiplayer mode.

I'm not sure how reliable the source is but here's what it says:

GTA: San Andreas Info

Want to know what music you’ll be listening to and the possibility of online play you say…

New information on GTA: San Andreas today came to light, giving some insights on what to expect from the third title in the GTA3 trilogy.

Realising that the series needs further innovation, RockStar north are currently implementing a wide range of gameplay additions, including the ability to challenge fellow highway drivers to a race; however sadly RockStar North are refusing to divulge anymore information prior to E3.

Following on from the musical success in GTA: Vice City, RockStar have once again been signing up major artists, reportedly including the likes of 50 cent, Justin Timberlake and Happy Mondays to mention but a few – hinting that San Andreas will have a more modern theme then the 80’s induced Vice City.

In addition it’s claimed that San Andreas will be much larger then either Liberty City or Vice City before it, whilst we’ve heard suggestions that an online multiplayer mode will surface and provide the major selling point for the title.

We’ll hopefully have more information soon.

Take 2 have announced they are moving the launch date for The Warriors to the first quarter of 2005 to allow additional resources to be devoted to San Andreas

The full story:

Take-Two is reiterating its guidance for the third quarter ending July 31, 2004. However, it is moving the launch date of The Warriors™ for PlayStation®2 from the third quarter of fiscal 2004 to the first quarter of fiscal 2005. Rockstar Games believes that this shift will benefit the product and will allow additional resources to be devoted to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, scheduled to be in stores in North America on October 19th and in Europe on October 22nd. Rockstar plans to begin previewing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to key retailers and industry trade publications in June. "

I have finished re-designing now and this is what i've come up with, i know there isnt a lot of colour right now but i will make some images for the menu's to spice them up a bit.

You can now login to the forums and also be logged in on the site, you will also notice we have the downloads database properly intergrated into the site (not just in an iframe) however we are still doing things to it so we have disabled the downloads for now.

Hopefully you all like the new design, I know a lot of people didn't like it because we were using a CMS but we arent now, its all my work ^_^

If there are any broken links or images please comment so I can fix these as soon as possible and also if you have any feedback or suggestions then feel free to tell us

You'll notice this news is being pulled from the news forum which is better becuase all parts of the site are now intergrated

Enjoy the site!
