Rumour has it that a trophy patch for the PS3 version of GTA IV is coming soon, and a few PS3 sites have managed to get their hands on the list of what you'll be able to get. The list is actually the same as the Xbox 360 achievements as most people assumed it would be should a patch come forth, with the addition of a platinum trophy for "Taking A Liberty".
See the full list on our GTAIV trophies page, which we'll update soon with the proper icons. Still no word on an exact date for if/when these will be available.

Italian magazine The Game Machine have brought to light some minor new details on the PC version of GTA IV:
Thanks to gta-series.com for the news.
Over a year ago, Florida Judge Dava Tunis recommended permanent disbarment for Jack Thompson. Today, the case reached a pivotal point: Jack Thompson is officially disbarred, effective 30 days from now.
Jack Thompson has also been ordered to reimburse the Florida Bar with fees amounting to nearly ,000!
The Court approves the corrected referee's report and John Bruce Thompson is permanently disbarred, effective thirty days from the date of this order so that respondent can close out his practice and protect the interests of existing clients. If respondent notifies the Court in writing that he is no longer practicing and does not need the thirty days to protect existing clients, this Court will enter an order making the permanent disbarment effective immediately. Respondent shall accept no new business from the date this order is filed.

Kotaku has some new details on the upcoming GTA game "Chinatown Wars" for the Nintendo DS being released sometime this winter.
To clear up all confusion, Kotaku has confirmed this is a "real" GTA game, not a minigame of any sort, but a full featured game being released on the DS. It will feature D-Pad aiming and many features we saw in GTA IV. One including a PDA (instead of a cell phone) for a lot of interactions. The list they include is "email, contacts, map, music player, GPS, [and] stat-tracking." The stats can supposedly be uploaded to Rockstar Games Social Club website via a Wi-Fi connection to keep track of in-game progress.
Here is a list of all the features:
- True GTA game - sandbox gameplay, open-world environment, gritty crime narrative.- M-rating
- Isometric camera angle
- Cel-shaded polygons w/ black borders
- good touch-screen implementation - "tasteful" minigames, streamlining interface
- UI based on a PDA - hub for email, contacts, map, music player, GPS, stat-tracking
- stats uploaded to Rockstar Social Club website via Wi-Fi
- finger-sized icons
- missions designed for shorter periods of play, arcade quality
- aiming with control pad, auto targeting with R button
- subtle autosteer
- if you fail a mission, you can jump back to the action sequence
- chain gun, flamethrower
- good portion of Liberty City is modeled in the game (different routes than console games)
- no probems with load times, draw-in or frame rate
- lots of pedestrians, cars, etc on screen
- Wanted system - objective is to disable police cars any way possible
- real-time weather effects, 24-hour day/night cycle
- lots of radio stations to listen to (more instrumentals than vocals)
- 800,000 lines of hand-optimized source code (hey, the people like the info, right?)
- no details yet on multiplayer/Wi-Fi features
Now most of this is considered rumor right now, but the info is taken from a November issue of Nintendo Power Magazine, so we can be pretty certain that this is the real deal.

The official Games for Windows website has added a page for GTA IV. On it they've included the recommended system requirements for the game, no minimum specs have been included though so we may have to take this with a pinch of salt for the time being. Here's what they're suggesting:
OS: Windows XP SP2Processor: Dual core processor (Intel Pentium D or better)
RAM: 2GB
Hard Drive: 18GB free hard disk space
Video Card: 512MB Direct3D 10 compatible video card or Direct3D 9 card compatible with Shader
Drive: DVD-ROM dual-layer drive
Not sure if your computer is up to the task? For some weeks now we've had a thread on the forums for just that. Will my PC run GTA IV? Here you can post your specs and read our own best estimations at the specs, and some of our more knowledgeable members will do their best to advise on any upgrades we think you may need.
Thanks GTAGaming.
EDIT: The information appears to have been removed from the Games for Windows site. The reason for this is currently unknown.
