I receive submissions of stunt videos all the time but if I ever I get one from GTAStunting I always look forward to it.
Daf-Fy sent me some news to post and so I'll let him explain the stunt video that has been created called Amped.
The Gtastunting.com Community is proud to present the very first San Andreas Community Stuntmovie. Loaded with some of the best and most difficult stunts ever done this movie is sure to impress even the best stunters out there or people who have just looked at the cover of a GTA game.
GTAStunting follows up their great tradition in community movies with another hardhitting Stuntmovie, but now for the first time in San Andreas, over 200 replays where sent in but only the best were picked out by stunting legend "DeathCobra."
The people at Gtastunting.com are proud to present the best of the best edited by "Daf-Fy!" The soundtrack was a hard job to pick out but finally these songs were selected:
Trevor Jones - Sleep Now
Insolence - Poison Well
Linkin Park feat. Jay Z - One Step Closer / 99 Problems
Quarashi - Mr Jinx
No mods where use to enhance the handling of the stunts in this movie! Some stunts were sped up a little or down during the editing because of the stunters different hardware but the stunts remain the same. Be sure to visit www.gtastunting.com for more!

An article on The Inquirer caught my eye today. I was sent the link by a friend and initially dismissed as it seemed completely false information, but as I was sent the link by a couple of other people I decided I'd re-read it and post about it. Stirring up a rumours is now a popular past-time it seems for news sites struggling to gain popularity among the masses.
The article essentially summarises how many games are now moving towards using real life cities as opposed to realistic false ones. They seem to think Rockstar games has "more than probably" situated the next GTA in London, England.
First proof of theory is the fact that Rockstar Games has, more than probably - placed the next installation of Grand Theft Auto franchise in the capital of Blightyland.
There is no fact that Rockstar Games have done this, it is pure speculation. We currently have no official word from Rockstar on the location of the next game, and another thing, why would they shrink down the game from 3 cities in an entire state to the comparatively deminuitive London?
So far all the sites speculating on the next installment of Grand Theft Auto have based their article around unsubstantiated opinions and until we have an official statement from a Rockstar representitive it would be wise not to believe anything you read at this point, rest assured when the setting is revealed you'll know about it from us.
I hope all of you had a great christmas.
I know CJ did because he kicked Darth Mauls ass and jacked him for his double ended lightsaber and his sith speeder.

Edison Carter has released yet another update to his ever improving cheat device for Liberty City Stories. It works on Sony PSP's with most firmware versions. The main new features being:
Change CPU speed to 333MHz (fw 2.0-2.5 only)
Battery percent, voltage and temp (fw 2.0-2.5 only)
Turn while power jumping
Frames per second meter added to coordinates display
Edison's release notes for this update are as follows:
This version lets you change your CPU speed between 222MHz and 333MHz. You can also see your battery level, voltage and temp. This feature is not available on firmware 2.6. The syscalls are all mixed up on 2.6 and it would be prohibitively difficult to discover the CPU and battery stuff on 2.6. Of course the battery life will be shorter if you play at 333MHz.
Video Recorder records an animated GIF at 8 frames per second. I think it may actually be better to stay at 222MHz for video recording. The CPU time starvation on 222MHz helps slow down the game and hold the screen still during the screen captures.
Don't forget to press DOWN+X to stop your video before taking the memory card out!
The GIF file generated is uncompressed. To compress it, load it into anything that can load animated GIFs and then save. Compression reduces the filesize by better than 50%. Always compress the GIF before posting on the web, and limit the length of your recordings to keep the size reasonable!
The Heavy Motorcycle cheat determines the mass of motorcycles when they are first created, like when you open the garage or when you first see one in traffic, so you need to turn it on before opening the garage or finding a motorcycle you want to ride. Once a motorcycle is created, its mass property is set. Other motorcycles on the road will also be heavy, but for peds, their motorcycles burst into flames at the slightest touch of another vehicle. If you don't want this, get yourself a heavy motorcycle then turn the cheat off so new motorcycles will be normal.
With this cheat, you are the heaviest thing in the universe and in every collision, the other vehicle has to do all the moving to get out of the way. If you shove a car into a wall, it has nowhere else to go so it'll squirt up into the air like the Yardie Lobo in my video.
If you don't turn on Your Car Is Indestructible, you get a cool flame effect when you crash into walls.
This San Andreas Mod for PC will change your rocket launcher into a multi rocket launcher that fires 6 rockets auto reloads and fires 6 more. This is a conversion of my Vice City mod which I converted to San Andreas for a friend.
News on the Grand Theft Auto front has been rather slow as of late, with only edisoncarter's LCS hacking and Switch's new mods worth posting about. So now's a good opportunity to update you all on the progress of some of the mutiplayer mods in development, and some total conversion mods.
First off we have GTA Multiplayer, the team who have taken over development of the former SA-MP mod. Yesterday saw the release of their first video, showing off the work they've put into the core and synchronising elements of the mod. Progress is just over 72% at the time of posting.
Next we have MTASA, still no release as of yet, but by the sounds of it they don't have that much left to do before the first release. They're currently developing a server-side anti-cheat mechanism, which is a great way to rid the community of the few who wish to spoil the fun. You can keep an eye on their updates by reading their blog.
Not much to post about gtaTournament since their last release. Looks like they have a few of the socket errors which have plagued their mod previously. Version 0.3 seems like it's coming along nicely too, version 0.2 is available from our downloads database for those who are desperate to play now.
The newest multiplayer mod on the scene is GTA Rumble. These guys are already doing well with a few beta releases out already. They are hoping to get everything fixed before Christmas, so I'm looking forward to this one. They seem like a very dedicated team working on it. You can check out and download their current mod at GTARumble.co.uk.
If you remember there were a fair few other teams trying to get a share of the multiplayer gaming world. Teams are mostly now defunct, but included SA-2P, a mod simulating the 2 player mode seen on the PS2 and Xbox versions of San Andreas. SanAnarchy, looked promising and got to 86% finished but last update was well over a month ago so it doesn't look like they're doing too great. Online Andreas was probably the first multiplayer mod released, however it doesn't seem to have been worked on at all since then. There may have been some others but to be honest if people can't even remember them they probably aren't worth posting about.
Finally to conclude this post, the team working on GTA-LVS released version 0.2 of their mod earlier this month, which aims to bring Liberty, Vice and San Andreas together. There's still a lot of work to be done but it shows they're progressing. Enjoy playing that.
This mod will change the grenades in GTA San Andreas into TV grenades with the greatest show on G4tv (Attack Of The Show) on the screen. If your wondering how I got the motivation to ever make a mod like this I'll tell ya....
So I was just kickin back watching some G4tv when my favorite show Attack Of The Show came on the tube. I thought hmmmm (Attack Of The Show) wouldn't that be funny if a show could really attack you and that's when idea for the grenades hit me like a ton of bricks or rather an exploding TV! I got right to work making a model of a TV with the show in mind.
I've added an optional texture for those who live in a cave and have not seen the show or just simply don't like it O.o you can see a preview of that texture here.
And the actual mod for GTA San Andreas (for PC) can be downloaded here
P.S. Check back soon to see the new vehicle mod I'm currently working on (TOP Secret) Shhhhh..
<img src="http://thegtaplace.com/images/news/helloworld.jpg" hspace="5" align="left">It seems as though an amazing game was not the only thing that you received when you spent 50 dollars, more or less, on Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. Even though I think homebrew software for the PSP is a load of bollocks, I decided to post this cause most PSP owners don't. For all you peeps out there who accidentally upgraded to any firmware above 2.0 wanting to play Who wants to be a millionare or PSP Chess, for instance, then this is just your day!
Apperantly some character called Fanjita, who is a proud moderator at the imaginatively named PSPUpdates website, found an exploit in the game save for GTA: Liberty City Stories (which he proudly snatched from Edison Carter's Cheat Device) that enables unsigned code (otherwise known as homebrew) to be ran on the PSP. Rather going into more detail, i'll just direct you to PSPupdates themselves for more info where you'll also find a download link.
If you can't get this to work/uploaded/downloaded/removed or if it f*cks up your Liberty City Stories save game (and even break your PSP) then please don't email us as we will most certainly not be able to help you.

Also for those of you who didn't know already, Edison Carter updated his Cheat Device yet again after our last post. The latest update makes it possible to trigger the snapshot while holding other buttons. Click the links below to download and visit Edison Carter's website for more info.

This is my 5th San Andreas Mod for PC and my favorite so far.
It will change your go kart into a rocket ride machine like something you would see in front of your local store, mall or amusement center but better because this one can tear off through the city for an extra quarter.
I've also uploaded a preview of the model created by me here.
Well after seeing that the site has been here for three years, I thought that it deserved a cake!!!!
So I made one.
This is my 4th San Andreas Mod for PC and it changes your grenades into Birthday Cakes.
Today we bring to you the first batch of renders of Grand Theft Auto 4 for the PS3, straight from Rockstar North in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Ok, I'm just kidding. These are not of any GTA game currently in development. However they are the work of one guy who recently acquired a job at the studio in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was kind enough to show us the work that he did that got him this snazzy job at Rockstar North as an enviroment artist. Be sure to read this topic to check out his work. If you think you're up for it, then why not submit your portfolio to Rockstar? Currently job openings are available at Rockstar North and at Rockstar Leeds, both developing another Grand Theft Auto title. One for next generation consoles, the other for the PSP.
On a side note, Edison Carter has yet again released another update of his LCS Cheat Device. Features include:
Infinite Health and Armor
Edit Wanted Level
Edit Weather + Snow
Display Coordinates and Speed
Step Through Walls
