Nice to know of that... Still it's more or less a fat chance that my device will be supported. It does run on my Galaxy 5, but it's a slideshow for the most part.
-
Sorry for teh double-post, but I also made a version of the mod for GTA3:

Let me know if this works on your phone, K? I do have an Android but the game runs too sloooooow on my device.
-
You're welcome. Oh, and I made a few updates, too.

Original model from Team Bondi/Rockstar Games
Ripped by Tosyk
Converted to SA by Huckleberry Pie
Just decided to do this outta' boredom; haven't seen anyone rip some shit off LA Noire so here's what I did for you guys. Usual vehicle installation instructions, nothing more, nothing less. I might need to fix some minor bugs on the mod, but overall it works just as fine.

Nice to have you back, Chris! And yeah, it does look 'swell on mobile devices, too. Too bad my Galaxy's too weak to handle that sort of awesomeness.
Oh, and another thing, nkjellman from GTAF got to take a peek at the data files: http://www.gtaforums...entry1060946960
NINJA EDIT: It looks like some of the other dudes have managed to stuff in some custom DFFs ingame: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=495708&st=0entry1060945724
It appears that the game still uses Renderware, which is a bit surprising considering that they ditched it years ago in favour of their own RAGE.

I've now made a version of the phone for vanilla IV: http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/f6203-zte-blade-for-gta-iv
There seems to be an issue with the viewmodel, though; might try to fix that one later.
-
The GTA3 copy that I have took up 500-700MB of space, sans the radio files. Given that R* might encode the radio stations at a lower bitrate then it won't take up too much.
-
Yeah, but that's for The Sims 3. OP's looking for something for Vice City, duh...
-
Did you just replace it with a downloaded model, or did you convert the ped yourself?
-
I bitch at people all the time because they cry that they got hacked. Noooo, you're just retarded and clicked something you shouldn't have clicked. If you don't know what you're doing, get off the internet. For the record, it's mostly common sense. Then I get yelled at for "not helping any".
Ditto on that.

This sounds good, although I prefer editing the actual archives themselves. Still if you're looking for a quick texture shoop then this one's for you.
-
Blame it on the fact that most Facebook users are either technophobes, imbeciles or just plain oblivious.
-
And still L.A. Noire and some of them biggies are being lulzed at by pirates despite being over 20GB in size. But anyway, how's the phone? Was it good enough in GTA and TS3?
-
The fact that each EP eats up about a DVD-DL's worth of space makes me think twice about installing all of them.
-
Where's the Sims 3 version? O.o
Well, you asked for it: http://www.strawberryforum.org/gtastuff/ZTE_Blade-1.27.package
You'll need to patch your game to 1.26 or have the Pets expansion to run it, though.

I did a version of this lovely phone last October for the Sims 3, and now that I have a copy of EFLC I decided to give Luis (and maybe Niko) something that's a little, uh, different:
The ZTE Blade, also known as the Orange San Francisco, Smart Netphone 701, Dell XCD35 and various others depending on the carrier, is an Android-powered smartphone by China's ZTE Corporation. The phone boasts some rather nice features such as an 800x480 touchscreen display, a 3.2 or 5MP camera, and Android 2.2 Froyo.
Should work on the latest EFLC builds; I'll be porting this to the base game, too, if anyone wants a version of it for IV.
You might notice a bug at the viewmodel's screen wherein the back of the phone shows up somewhat while using the dialer. Might try to fix that thing in the later versions. I might make an Android-ish theme, too.
Special thanks to EsmeraldaF and some of my buds at Mod The Sims for being such a nice pal and for the advice, to my pals at GTAForums (Sergei, Good, scarface2k_gtasa and all the other guys out there), and to Crissi and Rachel at American Girl Playthings.

Have you tried adding it on the Data Execution Prevention whitelist? There are some instances wherein SA would suddenly crash on load, especially if you're using mods like CLEO.
-
Looks nice, although he should've used the IV: SA mod instead.
-
Nice. I'll tell you when Dave shows up so that we can move the other sites as well.
-
Still the same banana as usual, playing GTA and stuff.
-
Might try doing a V shoop some time. This looks exciting...
-
Can you explain how to do this?
Try checking out the forum thread about it here: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=295783
-
What seems to be volumetric God rays can also be seen in the part where the dog appears. Whether it was shooped or if R* added support to it in RAGE, idk.
-
If I'm not mistaken the SA Limit Adjuster does the job of that.
Will My PC Run San Andreas?

Likely so. Albeit at low-medium settings, 640x480 to 800x600 resolution.
