  1. The only demo they released so far was for the first GTA games. From the scope and design of the later titles it would be highly unlikely for R* to do a free demo, let alone a beta which some imbeciles claim to offer.

  2. I don't have any particular ideas for the wanted system, but they need to make it more difficult to escape from the police. They can keep the current system as long as things get revamped. Its too easy to shake a helicopter in IV.

Also K9 dogs would be awesome as long are there are no annoying quick time events - I can see those getting bothersome for some people. In IV I think I only used the spray n' pay twice on my first playthrough! Smarter AI, better tactics to stop the player (road blocks, spike strips). I can see the terrain playing a large role in aiding your escape (or thrwarting - mountain impasses anyone?) , that is were the helicopter would come in making things more harder for us.

And that would cause animal rights "watchdogs" to go sour if that was the case.

  3. This link should come in handy.

Outside of that, I can't really provide you with much, though we support and encourage modding heavily with the PC versions of the game, consoles tend to stray into a legal grey area, since the methods often involve hacked / chipped consoles that can be used to play pirated version of the (and all) games. My suggestion would be to visit a dedicated forum for this sort of thing.

In other words, it's possible, but not worth the crap considering that it's more than worth it to mod the PC version, and due to legal issues concerning modchips and hacked consoles.

  4. In my opinion, we ALL need to shut up, sit back, and enjoy the ride. And while we're enjoying the ride, let's enjoy with each other, shall we? No need to be lonely. Share the ride with all of humanity, and share it equally. Live and let live. Die and let blossom. Change and variety are the most important aspects of life, we have no control over these things.

It's time to stop with the labels and constraints, the him and her, and the you and I. Us. We. Humanity. HUMANITY.

Exactly. Labels are for books and media, not humans.

  5. I think spending months planning an elaborate mass killing is definitely one of the signs of insanity. As would be going through with said plans. Regardless of what the reasons or motives behind this were, I find it to be shitty publicity surrounding the movie that this happened, on opening night at that. It's upsetting to think that there wasn't one person in that crowd ready to act in defense of the people. And I especially can't figure out WHY THE HELL A 3 MONTH OLD BABY WAS AT A MIDNIGHT MOVIE RELEASE. WHERE THE HELL DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE?

That's all I have to say on the matter.

This. Imo I think they should give Holmes a death sentence.

  6. My first PCIe upgrade, from an X300 with 128MB to start off with, was the 9400GT, something similar, if not that exact card, I still have it, but it's not meant for gaming, I got suckered into thinking HIGHER model number, newer card, it must be better for gaming then anything previous, the REAL manner of thinking suggests as far as nVidia, any 7, 8, 9 series card or similar, if it's lower within that range, if it lacks ULTRA or GTX, it's a budget card in some respect, so always look for the last HIGHEST number for a series to get all the features of that series card, it's a good rule of thumb. If the memory is 1GB or more, it's crippled by a small memory interface, which acts like the gate or BUS in relegating traffic of data at any given time it's needed

On a newer series Nvidia, anything with the second digit that's higher than 4 is a mid-range to high-end card, i.e. GT440 or something like that. And yeah, the GTX designation gives way.

  7. A few people do expect them to get it out this year, but I'd say that won't change how Rockstar plan to treat the franchise, they may have internal AND external pressure, but quality is job one at Rockstar Games, so the work will go in as best they can before they release this baby

Agreed, as they prefer to spend time perfecting their work rather than annualizing their games just like what Activi$ion does on their Call of Duty IPs.

  8. There's a tutorial on how to do an ISO mod somewhere, but trust me, it ain't worth the crap as it's a lot easier to do it on the PC version.
