  1. IDK, but since the scammer whom I trying to make fun of for weeks came up and called me on Yahoo yesterday, I decided to give him something epic: Niko: "How's your mother?" Scammer: "My mother is very fine, my mother is very fine,"
  2. It's mostly due to too many HQ mods installed. GTASA seems to have a limited amount of memory allocated for buffering objects, which explains the numerous graphics glitches one encounters from having a lot of vehicle or texture mods. Try downloading the Stream Memory Fix from Alexander Blade; it comes as an .ASI so you may also need a loader for it.
  3. Yep, I've noticed that 1.0.6 seems slower than the previous builds.
  4. I can understand Sunny Baudelaire better than you. Please try to type in a coherent manner, other people just won't be able to help you if you speak like that.
  5. One thing: I can barely understand you. Being a grammar nazi that's something that I frown upon. And would you kindly post your system specs before asking any questions about your game slowing down? You may have applied any patches, but it won't help you much if you're running on a low-end system.
  6. It's likely that you're trying to patch a cracked (i.e. pirated) game installation. The game EXE has been changed into something that the update program doesn't recognise.
  7. Then you're most likely to end up getting plagued by polygon corruption, since you're running Vice City on an integrated graphics chip. It's either that you'll live with it or shell some money on a new and more decent PC.
  8. I agree on that. Back then it was all awesomeness; I used to watch those great shows like Scooby-Doo, The Little Lulu Show, Flintstones, Tom & Jerry and all them retro stuff. Nowadays it's all just Hannah Montana and worthless poser bullshit.
  9. First of all this isn't the right section for posting questions about GTA. And it would be nice of you if you tell us your hardware specs. I think polygon corruption in GTAVC may happen on low-end hardware than on later cards, as well as those integrated graphics chips on some systems.
  10. BioShock OST: Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky - Waltz of the Flowers
  11. Sorry for the late reply, but things seemed pretty good lately.

  12. Sorry for the late reply, but things seemed pretty good lately.

  13. First of all, this subforum is not for posting anything about the GTA games. You may consider reading this topic: http://thegtaplace.com/forums/topic/5959-sa-modding-guide/
  14. Sorry, but we don't provide support for pirated versions of GTA games. And I don't think that your current hardware config can run IV at decent playable speeds.
  15. Been slacking out a bit these days, so I decided to turn one of my GTA parodies into a real modification. I don't have a map yet, although I've been into ripping asset files from a Strawberry Shortcake PS2 game and having some dude convert it to a readable format. For now I'll only do the essential stuff, i.e. frontend, some character models, etc. The models that I have so far aren't UV-wrapped yet, so I had to skin them the hard way. "But why Strawberry Shortcake? Why not a Ferrari than some kiddie mod?" Well, how many times have you seen rice burners, exotic cars that you rarely see IRL, and ped models of rappers in GTASA? Ten? Twenty? Over nine thousand? C'mon dude, this is a parody, and I would like to see something unique and hilarious in the world of Grand Theft Auto. Anyway, here's a taste of things to come:
  16. Try reading this car installation guide at http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/topic/5959-sa-modding-guide/
  17. Replaying A Series of Unfortunate Events for the Gamecube as well as Bioshock on Medium.
  18. Seriously that isn't the right way to ask for a mod. Posting like a whiny 6-year old won't do any help.
  19. Plus the fact that I seem to notice some of them getting a little vain and stuff, like showing themselves too often than necessary.
  20. It isn't impossible to mod the Steam version as some people try to insist. The problem is that the GTASA binary is different from the other EXEs, which probably explains the lack of a downgrader. However, you can make it moddable by using a No-CD crack as suggested here in the Multi Theft Auto wiki and in their message board. I won't give you any links to the crack, though, for legal reasons, although it is obvious that you already bought it from Steam and you won't be using it illegally.
  21. Unfortunately, no. The mods will only work for the PC version of the game. It is still possible to modify console versions of games, but it's mostly a waste of time and resources when it is easier to tinker with the PC version.
