  1. I'm pretty sure you can auto-aim on the PC version, provided that you have a game controller, although Deji has a CLEO script that offers similar functionality if you decide to go for a key-and-mouse configuration. I find it more comfortable to play on the keyboard, since you can aim rather feely with the mouse.
  2. Obviously yes, since you can fine-tune ENBSeries depending on your configuration, i.e. turn off occlusion and/or water effects if you notice any slowdowns.
  3. Sorrt for the double-post, but here's a gameplay video:
  4. I was thinking of replacing Mr. Poe with Big Smoke for maximum hilarity.
  5. I know I posted a thread about my progress on converting GTA characters to other games, but here's another screenshot of what I did. He now walks and stands properly, although I had to correct the vertex weights on him: I'm sure some of you will laugh at what I did, especially those Snicket fans out there like Raybob.
  6. Currently lulzing on The Sims 3, as well as a bit of GTASA.
  7. Try downgrading your game to 1.0. Later SKUs of GTASA may not be able to accept most user modifications, probably due to the Hot Coffee fiasco.
  8. It is indeed a misnomer.

  9. Don't expect it to be too easy, especially if you wanted to make a new ped or vehicle or even a brand new map. However, if you're just into shooping replacement TXDs for the game, then this might help you (it's for SA, but the procedure is pretty much the same): http://www.thegtaplace.com/forums/topic/5274-tutorialgtaphotoshopsan-andreas-texturing/
  10. Likely yes, especially the video card and PSU, should you decide to slap a stronger and/or more powerful unit.
  11. Especially if your laptop doesn't come with an expansion slot for a graphics card. It's either that you spend more money on a gaming laptop, which costs a fortune, or content your gaming existence in a cage by getting a reasonably powerful desktop.
  12. We had a US-spec Genesis back then. Only a few games, plus we don't have the Sega CD or 32X addon (which is pretty much like an inefficiently-utilised piece of garbage, frankly speaking, with games only consisting of rehashed shovelware and gimmicky FMV games). It was fine, actually, although the AC adaptor kinda fsck'd up after playing it for a while, requiring a few minutes of cooldown before gameplay resumes.
  13. Klaus Baudelaire, nothing else:
  14. So far, I don't think there are any of these mods for GTA IV yet. In SA, maybe, but I'm yet to see a scratch-made ped mesh such as a Goku or Vegeta in IV.
  15. Will do. So far I only managed to get the head moving in my custom model. Dunno why the appendages don't move even though they're rigged.
  16. Rigging as in converting characters for use in a game, i.e. Tommy in San Andreas or something like that.
  17. I recently got myself a copy of the Series of Unfortunate Events PC game, and so I decided on messing with it, as it runs on Unreal 2.0. I once made custom textures for it, although for now I'm doing this: The model loads, obviously, but he doesn't move the way we humans are supposed to. Might take another look at what I did and post an update about it.
  18. This isn't a HeadOn commercial, you don't need to repeat the same message over and over again. If it crashes on the loading after you successfully installed a car, it's most likely that you're using version 2.0 of San Andreas. Practically all of the San Andreas SKUs sold in stores today are version 2.0, indicated by the words "Second Edition" on the box. Try using a downgrader first, and then install a car like what you tried to do. Some say that a No-DVD patch can also be used for downgrading, especially for users who got their SA off Steam, but since the DVD bypassed EXEs can be used abusively (i.e. for piracy), we're don't really encourage using such a patch. You may google one if you like, but do it AT YOUR OWN RISK.
