Will that block images coming from certain URLs? I think most of the spam image URLs come from mac-dvd-ripper-soft dot com. (domain intentionally borked for this post).

Try deleting the gta_sa.set file in your San Andreas user files folder, found in My Documents. Such crashes are usually caused by hardware changes, since the settings in SA are tied to a specific hardware config.

For one thing, I would like the next game to be set in Manila, but I think it is unlikely as far as feasibility is concerned. Just Cause 2 did incorporate bits of Filipino culture ingame, though.

I'm born and raised as a Catholic, although not a very devout one to be honest. There are times when I feel uncertain about things, but then again I would still like to pay respects to The Lord. The issue of colficting faiths and beliefs is a big one, and the fact that some Christians and atheists are debating whether what we believe in makes sense made me think so deeply about it. Some insist that religion is a paradox (the Bible for one, was said to be having conflicts), but I view it as a mere quirk. For me there's no need to argue about the presence of God or something. As long as I believe (and follow) Him, I'm OK with it.

For one thing, the only reason you would patch your game to a newer version is when you don't feel like modding or having coffee. In most cases patching isn't necessary, and will only impair functionality if you have modifications.

I mostly replace peds with the desired models in my case, and then use a CLEO script to change CJ into my desired player model. The script came in the form of a cheat code, and is non-intrusive, unlike the skin selector.

Yep, it does, and there were efforts in porting apps and games like Quake and a couple more to it. As for the tablet I would like to see it being sold in more places besides India. Being that it runs on Linux and that it's dirt cheap makes it quite attractive.

Thanks, dude. I converted that from some dude's freely-available VRML model, and then did some work on it. As for the soundtrack, yeah, I used it for ironic effect, as it was in the film.

Did you download SA on Steam or just pirated/torrented it elsewhere?

Besides the fact that it uses Linux to cut licensing costs, it does seem like an exploitable toy to tinker with, like the Linux-powered Leapfrog Didj and Explorer, which also costs probably as much as that tablet.

You might also try this mod: http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=3071 It's pretty much an unofficial patch to tone down some of the mature content for children to play SA. I do let my nine-year old cousin play the game, but she's OK with it and she knows how not to say an f-bomb or two.

Delete the contents of your CLEO folder, make a clean reinstall, and then downgrade. After that, try installing Sanny Builder again.
