OK, so does anyone know about the fonts used in the interface of GTA IV? The ones seen when you enter a vehicle (the portion that displays the vehicle's name) seem to be like Bebas, but I'm not sure about the other ones. Any clues on it?

If I would develop a game, it's either that I would go open-source or make the protection intentionally weak; after all, you would end up having your work cracked in a day or two, right? Just telling the audience to buy the original copy of my game isn't hard, I guess...

Which is likely since they now included a built-in multiplayer component in IV; any mods like weapon stat changes ans things like that will be considered hax by the system...

Nice, they certainly are into using standard formats, at least to a certain extent. There are also IPL map files in the game, as far as I know...

Probably after a few months, since it can take time until the modding boys finish reverse-engineering the assets' file formats...

I can live with 15-30fps if you ask me; I have a heavily-modded SA on my machine - flip the switch on the ENB mod and it runs on that framerate, although I would be glad if it ran faster... And with that, I guess a terminal in a typical Filipino Internet kiosk may run the game (at least on low settings), provided that they have pretty much the same specs as yours.

It can take weeks or months if you want to weave yourself an awesome car. Trust me, you can't make yourself a 3D model if you don't have the patience and the free time to do so...

I also have that font in my system; probably for SA-MP or something...

I hope it runs fine on an 8600GT... I can't afford to make my rig into the ultimate hotrod, so maybe running IV on medium may do...
