  1. Although they have to scale down the graphics a bit ala-San Andreas, since the Wii is essentially two Gamecubes combined, plus a wireless motion sensor joystick.
  2. Well, I think it would be like in Half-Life, where you toggle in-between custom games or mods. It would be crazy if you install a DLC and you end up deleting your progress with Niko.
  3. Hmm, I'm not sure about this. Some models do look bad in GGMM although they run fine in game.
  4. Nice expansion pack... Will it be released for the PC version?
  5. Any plans on putting the new software here?
  6. Hmm, not exactly the XMB-killer, but at least it's a better stretch than the blades interface. Anyway, is this a permanent firmware upgrade or something?
  7. Nice, especially the video editor tool; no more Cam Hacking and fumbling with Fraps for those stunt footages...
  8. As promised earlier, here's my GUI mod to compliment Alex Blade's HUD and Yodaman's radar icons: Youtube preview: Not exactly a mimic of the original, but at least it's quite close... DOWNLOAD LINK: http://www.zshare.net/download/513904170841f4bc/ RAPIDSHARE: http://rapidshare.com/files/164237312/gtaiv_gui.zip.html God Bless and enjoy...
  9. OK, so I was playing around with a wallpaper of Sofia Vassileva for the lulz, and thought of mimicking the effect seen in the GTA IV concept art: Here's another attempt (slightly adjusted, though): It worked pretty well with the buildings in the background, but Sophie and the cabbie needs some work. Any ideas?
  10. As far as I know, it's a custom logotype; there is, however, a Splinter Cell JPG character set somewhere...
  11. Welcome to the forums, Hillary, God Bless and enjoy your stay here at the forums...
  12. Is it me, or are some of the networks in the Philippines (ABS-CBN, NBN4, NET25 to name a few) just steal the maps and some other images off Wikipedia without credit? Like for example an airplane crash somewhere in Luzon. The breaking news will then show up during the commercial break, talking about the latter incident, and a map will appear. Turns out that the map was taken from WP without a "courtesy of Wikipedia" disclaimer or two. Sure, WP is an open community, meaning you're free to edit stuff, and that the map images are under a free license, but that doesn't mean that it's OK to just use it without proper credit. They do enforce their copyright policy on noobs who upload straight rips of popular ABS-CBN shows on Youtube, filing a DMCA and having them taken down, but it turns out that the same folks who enforce copyright over their own programmes are also the ones violating it. 13. I'm a member there, and I think that you can add a comment about the site regarding this matter. Yes, there are some downloads that may bring up any false positives or something, but I don't think that this site has things that may harm your PC. Chris doesn't have control over the ads displayed here, but if you want to play safe, you may use an ad blocker to filter out unwanted content (and possibly malware) while posting or browsing here...
  14. OK, so we gamers are debating about which is better when it comes to graphics: the PS3 or the 360? In response to this, I made some comparison shots to show what the graphics will look like on the PS3 and the Xbox 360 *sarcasm*: The PS3 version has more saturated colours, while the 360 seems to be a little too bland or something - that is, if the show was made into a video game: As for SqueakyFresh's GTA IV footage... If you have a parody comparison shot that you made or found elsewhere, feel free to post it here, OK? God Bless and enjoy...
  15. Here's a graphics comparison shot; notice the more saturated colours on the PS3 version:
  16. Nice... What did you use in taking the pics?
  17. Now if there was a CLEO mod that would do that... I like the idea of real-time radio streaming on SA, rather than a fixed, pre-recorded one that's playing over and over...
  18. The ones on D2D aren't pirated; it's similar to the Steam version, which, of course, you'll have to pay for in order to download.
  19. Hmm, it seems as though that some OEM/name-brand home computers omit the AGP/PCI-express slot; we had a Pentium III-powered HP Pavilion once (built circa 2001), and to my surprise, it doesn't have an AGP slot on the board. If that's the case with the Pavilion you're about to purchase, then maybe you should stick to what chris82 suggested...
  20. Happy Birthday, my homie... God Bless and I hope you enjoy coding and CLEO-ing your way to awesomeness...
