I have a Manaro in Gran Turismo 4, and in a 1500m drag with a 2002 Chevy Camaro SS, it killed it from about 0-400m, but then at about 110mph, the camaro slowly caught up and won by about 50m at the end, going 169 (mph) and the monaro at 157. Probably because the camaro is more aerodynamic and has much taller gears. So, for Street, Monaro is better, plus it looks and sounds a lot cooler. You can't really judge cars and compare them from video games. Also forgot to mention, I hate the newer Tauruses.... I'd like an '89 Taurus SHO over any Taurus.

What about buying your own cds, would they let you do that? I'm really just trying to help you out.

My school uses floppies. PS, I asked for an Internal Floppy and Multi Media Card Reader that will fit in a 5.25" drive bay. And I normally don't have the 3,00 dollars is costs to buy a blank CD from them. Buy your own Cds. Way cheaper. Also, why don't you just see if you can use a USB drive? You can get a 2GB drive for no more than 20 dollars these days, and it's perfect for school projects/etc.

I have a few things to say. First, I'm not participating, because I no longer feel the need to make sigs. Also, you should either have votes on the new themes, or let the winner decide the next theme. I've actually seen this is practice and it works well.((People will start to get pissy that you are choosing every theme)). Why do we need to submit the code? The code is the same for everyone, why would that be judged?

Eh, here's the thing, even a crappy guitar can sound great when tuned and played right. I heard of a professional band((sorry, no sources, I don't remember the name)) that were playing with all FirstAct guitars. They replaced the strings, the pickups, and used quality amps. Of course, it's a bit different with acoustic guitars((different woods resonate different, and the quality of the build can effect it)), but still, for learning, don't worry too much about quality. Worry about playing.

By this logic we should only have one video game in the world. It costs MONEY to make video games. Game engines aren't easy to code, or cheap to buy. Total conversions are a GREAT way to start getting your feet wet in video game design and I say fucking GO FOR IT. Who cares if it isn't GTA anymore? You've played GTA, haven't you? Yeah? Then what's the big deal? If you don't want to lose the ability to play GTA again, make a second directory. I have three SA directories right now. Quite frankly, everyone's views now on TCs is just bullshit. It's probably the reason why there's virtually no good ones available((I'm sorry, replacing all the cars and billboards.... Not worth it to me)). I was excited when I saw the Gotham City TC, it looked awesome and they did an amazing job on it. Only it died, and they decided not to release what they had already done. They completed the Bat Cave. That's fucking awesome. I'm sorry, but I'd entirely replace my San Andreas for GTA: Gotham City. Batman kicks ASS. And BTW, people, without teams doing this kind of shit, we wouldn't have Counter-Strike. I do not approve of CS, but dammit, it's one of the highest selling FPS games on the market.

See, I open up Firefox, and I've got such handy session managers and shit, that it USUALLY is either TGTAP or MySpace((because these are usually the last things I check before sleeping)). If it's TGTAP, THAT'S why I skip the homepage. If it's MySpace, I type "t" into my browser and click the first TGTAP link, which use to be the forum's index, but now it's the DS private board((and I don't know why)), so that's, also, why I skip the homepage. I usually don't bother with the homepage because everything I need is on the message board. At one point all the news was mainly SA mods and shit. Now it's about GTA IV, and I don't own GTA IV. So yeah. I use the homepage to download mods for SA NOW, but I usually click the "Home" link FROM the forums. Basically..... Convenience.

I think Tool is worth a listen. I don't hear much of their music, but I know a kid who thinks they're one of the greatest things ever. Or, at least, use to.

Why is it so important to have a floppy drive? I have not seen someone use a floppy in over 4-5 years. Memory sticks and flash drives are too cheap and small to necessitate the use of floppys.

I once tried abec 13's (off craigslist for 40 dollars) on my shortboard and it was REALLY fast and quiet, but then it slid and I fell. I skated almost constantly until I got sortof good and then I quit. A big reason was because I totally lost interest, but also everybody at my school that skated were total posers or terrible emos. Back when I was skating, I swear the ABEC system didn't go above 9. Nine was like the closest to longboard bearings you could get. I had 5's, and was able to out-run a longboard. They look incredibly hard to use, but the makers claim they are incredibly easy to use. I've never tried riding one, but I want to.
