Whenever Windows 7 boots up, the speakers have the red X on them, and don't work.I have to reinsert the cable everytime. This only happens on Windows 7 though, nothing on XP and Linux.

The 9400 is a Inno3D, and the 8500 GT is an Asus. I'm not that sure about Inno3D, but Asus doesn't impress me either.

They sure are a better replacement than a 7600(im replacing my brother's gfx card) So, i wanna know which one is better. Nvidia label their cards so the higher the 2nd number(e.g in *8**), the better the card. But a 9*** is a 9, so it's a tough call between these two. So, which one?
