uhh ok. router make and model? you want to run a sa-mp server? make sure you have static IP i suppose otherwise it will be hard for people to keep track of it. the remote desktop thing, what are you using? are you using mstsc (remote desktop) built in to xp pro? if the other computer is not xp pro, you cant do that. also you need to be either a member of the local administrators or remote desktop user groups on the machine you are trying to remote to. and that machine must be configured to accept remote connections (check the option in my computer > properties > remote, add exception to firewall, add which user accounts can use remote desktop) you have to upload the torrent to a tracker, thats about as far as i know. never done that before so uh yeah.

there are a few rpg servers, argonath, falcon, =rm=, now or never rpg. thats on vc-mp, i dunno about MTA cos i dont use it.

lol well my dad being who he is, took the remote apart, and found that the ir transmitter thingamajig isnt attached to the rest of the pcb (like became unsoldered or whatever)... so i think he is gonna take it to a repair shop nearby. lol. btw evolution thats a nice trick / idea i just tested with my stereo remote. it was white though...

I have this font in MSN, what i did was unzip the file you downloaded, so there is a font file on your desktop. now go to the folder C:\windows\fonts. press file > add fonts. then a dialog box will come up asking you where it is. find where you put it, and click ok and it will install. Yeah also like Llama said if the other person doesnt have the font, they wont be able to see that font, it'l just be a standard font like arial or times new roman or something. Also why is this in GTA3 modding? Computer+Tech maybe?

Ok recently we got a new surround sound system, with a Pioneer VSX-917V reciever. Anyways, the remote was supposedly on the lounge, and fell off. Now it will light up or whatever when you press a button, but it wont transmit anything, cant put volume up/down, change source, turn off/on. Any ideas what the problem could be. It's not batteries, cos the little LCD display says stuff when u push a button. I'm thinking I will probably have to order a new remote from Pioneer or something, unless its covered by warranty, which I suppose it is.

These guys are right, basically....its a lot harder than you think it is / will be. i can say that from experience, in my software class y11/12, we were making a board game, and even that was hard. you gotta start small and work up to something like that. and what does c++ have to do with flash?
