dude dont bump your own topic & quadruple post. just be patient. as for your problem, all i can suggest is use an account with full admin privileges. you, ummm...just reinstall san andreas like this. go to folder c:\program files\rockstar games\gta san andreas ... delete that entire folder. then uninstall through control panel / add remove programs. then reinstall with your disc. then downgrade or whatever, just dont put any mods, then it should work fine.

well unless the car lists itself as being "moddable" you cant really mod it. although nitrous is never a problem, i dont know why your game crashed, i can put nitrous in all my modded cars... but other stuff like spoilers, exhaust etc is only if the mod says its moddable. maybe you forgot some extra lines to add in default.ide default.dat one of those. i'd uninstall then reinstall the mod.

^ what doesnt work?? the only other thing would be your user account doesnt have write permissions for the gta folder. like, if you are a limited user or something. always use administrator account / one with admin privileges, otherwise a lot of stuff wont work as it is dependent on these privileges

theres a program that extracts vcm, here. then its extracted to dff and txd files, so you can use imgtool to add them in. dont forget to BACKUP i think you need to make your files not read only. go to your vice city folder and right click, click properties, and click read only until it is blank, then when it asks, say "apply to folder and files"
