  1. The only way to do this is editing the .exe which has the game's AI (Artificial Intelligence). And that's impossible as the engine would have to be rebuilt. The game's just stupid yes.

    And I can't believe a Forum Boss didn't tell him to talk about mods in the Modding section! :P

  2. Grand Theft Auto IV is now available as part of the Xbox LIVE Marketplace Games on Demand service. For anyone that has not yet experienced the highest-rated game on Xbox 360, you can now download it directly to your Xbox 360 hard drive for $29.99, and just like all Xbox LIVE downloads, you can purchase it directly from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace website and have the download queued up and ready...

    Awesome!

    * No, I'm not advertising, the news are actually there so I linked it.

  3. Well, welcome but first of all this is the wrong section. You should search better for the Modding Section below this forum. :/ Well you'll need 3ds max and Kams' scripts for it so you can export DFF and col. Well San Andreas modelling is different as you gotta know how to put textures, make TXD's and add car characteristics to the model like wheels etc. You can't just make a car model and get it ingame, it'll crash. I can't create cars on 3ds so I can't really explain in detail :P Also depends on the mod you want to do, there are models, textures, particles, etc. You can search some up in TGTAP's Mod Database and take examples from them (DO NOT COPY ANY CONTENT). Or you can go to GTAForums or google some modding tutorials :)

  4. Well, welcome to TGTAP! You could have used the Modding forums for that as you're talking about a mod. :D There's an application (trainer) called San Andreas Performance tool that if you click a hotkey, it disables certain effects. Here it is. When you download it, your antivirus may say it's a trojan or a keylogger. It isn't, it says that because it's got to detect your keystrokes while in game to know what to activate. Good Luck!

  5. That post is so detailed you copied it from Girish.* :PTry that, if it doesn't work, try checking your game's version. If it's 1.1 you'll see a watermark saying v1.1 and it can be the reverse of what Steam said, then try googling for GTA SA Downgrader to downgrade your version to V1.0 which also allows you to mod the game. I saw your edit. Well, Try the save Steam provided, the crash is because the version isn't the same. The code file has different addresses.

    * I'm kidding, Steam.

  6. Well hello and welcome to TGTAP. You may have not seen that this forum is not for GTA like the above message says:

    Not For GTA

    This forum is NOT for posting anything about the GTA games. If you break this rule you will be shot. Please go to the main forums page and scroll down further, you'll see the GTA forums there. Thank you.

    You'd be better off posting in the GTA SA Modding Forums. Also SAMI's reported a lot of bugs so why not drop by the Modding section and read Gerard's Modding Tutorial? :)
