I had a Disk Reading Problem and I have abused my xbox in the past and finally it wont read my games. I went to gamestop and the guy said if i am sending it in they probably wont fix it because of the abuse. He suggested Red Ringing it so they will just send out another,Since there are so many going in for the RROD. He told me if I wanted to burn it up to wrap it in towels and leave it on. Well Ive had it on for a day and a half watching movies, and the damn thing wont burn up LOL. Other people have it happen for no reason and I am trying to Red Ring it and it wont . How Long you guys think it will take? Any other suggestions on Red Ringing it? I am Buying an Elite Friday with my Stimulus check so I am just hoping theyll send me another one I can sell if they repair my Pro. Also I know to look for the 175 watt Elite But I looked yesterday at Meijer and I couldnt find the wattage anywhere on the box anyone have a pic of where its listed? Ryan

That's exactly what I would suggest, buy an elite, then when you get your refurb xbox back just sell it. Oh and I believe Elite's come with a transfer cable that allows you to get all your stuff off your original hard drive so you shouldn't lose any data. Thanks for the input, I actually just got on XBL last week and never realy got a chance to buy anything LOL I had a few trailors and demos but nothin I paid for. Im just worried about the achievements and Gamesaves. Ill look into it I went to the site but it didnt say much besides go to best buy to get it. So i will check it out. I was hoping just to hook the two boxes up and tramsfer everything via and ethernet cord. I guess that would be too easy Thanks Ryan

Wow I havent heard FUBAT in a long time LOL Thats what I was wondering because i didnt know if they opened it up if they could tell it got slammed or not. I think Im still gonna send it in and see what happens I thik worse case scenario theyll send it back and tell me to go **** myself. Ill just go buy an elite this week I guess. Anyone know if there is a way to take all my achievement and save files off my 20 gig HHD and transfer it to the elite's? one thing i have found is people that go to the ATMS always have like 5 bundles of money. I was just farting around one day by my first hide out and around the corner i found a guy going to the atm in the wall and waited till he was done and bea him up and got 5 bundles of money. I am not sure what theyre worth. I waited around till someone else went there and when she was doen i got 4 bundles outta her Thought that was interesting Ryan

So my Xbox took a shit on me finally. I wanted to ask you guys here for some advice A while back me and the old lady were fighting and the short version is The Xbox got slammed. Im talking SLAMMED ON THE FLOOR! But it still worked fine. I was at a friends house letting him check it out and had the 360 standing upright and his kid bumped it and knocked it over flat. Now I cant play any games. With GTA it says I need to put the game in a 360 Console which obviously it is. Ive taken the HDD off and tried open and closed it, turned it on with the game in it. Sometimes it will make it through the loading until it goes to load my actual game, then just stops loading. I put Dead rising in and it says it cant read the disk, which has always worked. But I can still play DVDs on it with no prob. It doesnt have the RROD. I still have the warranty on it and I am sending it in. Do you guys know if they will realize the Xbox has be abused in the past? Im figuring the lense got scratched somehow. Any tips on making it play without sending it in or if they will even fix it? the only visible damage is on the back where the white metal meets, where it over laps a little at the top, where it popped apart a little? Personally I have an Xbox 360 and havent had any probs thank god ::knocks on wood:: But for all of you PS3 gamers, you guys should be marching to rockstar right now. After waiting so many years, and so many delays. Alot of you got a game you cant play. Thats BS. For 60$ or 80$ or whatever you paid for the game I would think it would work. They put so much time and effort into making it as realistic as possible, and it doesnt play. You shouldnt have to do a 12 step program, delete you files or turn off features to beable to play the game IT SHOULD JUST WORK!!!!!!!!!! I mean seriously GTA 4 was Always coming out on PS3, its not something that was rushed into production at the last minute. Did they just test and play the game on 1 PS3, not several like they should. I like punching a random person and running until I can find a cop and watch them get arrested when they hit me LOL I also like the fact as long as you dont get arrested you keep your weapons like if you die by gunfight or car crash, its a nice bonus, since im not cheating my way through for once Ryan

I also hate driving from Island to island. I think I take a taxi more than I drive long distances because i hate the controls I also Hate the fact the Official Guide didnt answer alot of my questions or have alot of the odds and ends, like little side notes like radio stations, and just little fun facts. For 20$ i expected more, but It does what I need Where the hell is all the body armour. I was always a devote cheater on the previous titles, I have the codes for this one but I want to play through without using them, I just dont know where to get armour at? Press up once then dont press A(xbox version) so the phone is there but you havent accessed anything you shouldnt see a menu or anything then press up again it will bring up the numbers you can also call 911 then easiest way is just press up twice fast. maybe multiplayer come up because you have more than one controller on? I dont know if that would make a difference? Hope that helps, if not there is a mission like 17% into the game for Brucie when you need a cop car, he tells you how to call 911. you also might not be far enough in the game, now that i think of it it took me a while so that i could free dial. I was doing the race with Brucie today, Lost then wrecked inbetween a tree and a wall with the car on its side. I got out of the car and Brucie's cutscene started where he told me to try later and drove off, then for about 2 min Niko just walked around byhimself.I couldnt control, stop, or make him do anything. I could switch weapons, zoom on the radar, pause, and change the camera angle but couldnt call punch jump or run. Luckily one of the girls called me and it fixed it. So beware... I thought it'd be fun to list anything you have found you don't like, Miss from the previous games, or things you could do without. personally I hate navigating the city when on missions, it takes a long time to get from one island to another. I've never been to New York so I'm assuming its really worse than the game. I find myself taking a taxi when i have to go for really long drives. The steering also takes a while to get used to. THERE ARE COPS EVERYWHERE!!! I find myself actually getting some speed and next thing I knoe i hit a cop BUT I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!! It should be in a museum with the Mona Lisa, and everything else that is considered art. Ryan

My Local Gamestop is in a mall and they are opening the doors at 11pm to let people in for the midnight launch, they do it whenever any decent game comes out. Even Fight Night Round 3 they midnight launched, Madden, Zelda, Halo Its nice itll be my first time going there at midnight its gonna be like Dead Rising at lights out in the mall im assuming Ryan

Hey i was looking through my paper map and i found didlier sachs and found it in the game on the 1st island but it isnt open for buisness. I just finished the mission where cj steals the jetpack for the truth and i was wonderin what the heck i gotta do to buy a suit or do i have to finish the game or have 100% respect. could my file be corrupted from codes? I recently bought San Andreas for xbox to be played on my 360and its great but i was wondering is there any way i can use the xbox codes on the 360? Most of the codes need the black button to be pressed and obviously on 360 there isnt one. I dont have a regular xbox, so i am hoping someone can help me out. I wont play the game without codes so i think i wasted my money and will have to wait for GTA IV Ryan
