In Multiplayer Races, the big argument seems to be over whether the Comet, or the Infernus is better, performance wise. I really haven't noticed much of any difference at all, other than the Ifnernus seems slightly better at straights and avoiding spins, whereas the comet seems to turn a little better, and recover from spins a little better, in exchange for a bit less ability to AVOID spins in the first place. Personally, I use the Infernus because I use the Comet ALL THE TIME in the game, as I have a cheat for it, but not for the Infernus, and it really gets kinda boring always using the Comet after a while. However, the characteristics of the Comet seem to fit my driving style better, as I'm generally pretty good at avoiding spins. So, which one do you think is better, Performance, and Style wise?

So seriously, when are we going to practice? Have we contacted anybody yet? We can practice with up to 16 people......

I don't know about you guys, but I have the ENTIRE WEEK OFF next week, and not a ton of stuff to do, just a few friends, minimal homework, a few soccer practices, and a few other minor(ish) events, leaving plenty of time for GTA!!!!!! (Although I don't plan on devoting all my time to this, I'll become a couch potato) We should have an official Clan Practice this weekend, or next week if others have it off too..... Contact everybody and we'll have a nice long 2 or 3 hour ( ) practice to see what everyone's made of and assign positions..... I CALL FIRST DRIVER!!!!!!

EDIT: NVM, I just realized that my monitor won't run 1600x1200. Won't even do over 60 Hz @ 1280x1024

Is there any patch or DLL that will let you run VC at 1600x1200x16? Mine only has 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, and 1280x1024, and I assume that's the same with everybody.... Would command lines work with this game?

I have three warnings on here..... On www.bttfhillvalley.co.uk, I got 3 warnings (4 and you're out), got banned for one week, and created 7 accounts trying to bypass the 1 week. (WTF? Duh.... ) but luckily they still let me come back on now, only they forgot to unban my IP, so now I have to use a proxy to get on, and they don't care. They said come back on, but still kept my IP banned. My warn level on that site is back down to 50% now though.....

Well, the 4890 is out, and to me, it doesn't look like much more than a slightly OC'd 4870, for $40 more. What do you guys think? For a rough comparison to NVIDIA, divide by 5.

First off, why the 800W PSU? Second, a bigger HDD will actually be faster. But on the topic of GPUs, some people actually experience BETTER with single cards, as their programs may not like doubles, and some people's mobos just don't like 'em, and slow it down. Besides, even with a GOOD Crossfire setup, you can't expect more then 30% Peformance gain AT BEST, and is it worth 2x the cost? Most people only get 7% real-world improvement, and 18% improvement in games that are built for it. NOT WORTH 2x the cost, unless you're running 3 or 4 monitors.

How much more reliable, cooler looking, luxurious, and BETTER ON GAS is the BMW M3? Self Answer: Ha, a whole fucking lot. Not that the dodge isn't good, but for this I just like the Beamer more.

Yeah, that's a pretty expensive mobo, and although EVGA is a good NVIDIA GPU Manufacturer, I wouldn't normally recommend them for Mobos. Asus or Gigabyte.

There's no tax on Newegg. And what mobo did you choose? Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R is one of the best.

Yeah, I already had said that info about Stevie and Bernie, but you're supposed to use spoiler tags for stuff like that. I'm looking for it in single-player. In Multiplayer, I drove around for 6 minutes, and found one. In single-player, I drove around the city at various times with various cars and didn't find one. I have a cheat for the NRG-900. I think I'll try the race idea.....

Does anybody know where to find an Infernus in GTAIV OTHER THAN when or when ? I lost my Infernus when I went to enter a cheat for Health, and accidentally hit the PS3 Sixaxis tutorial. Can anybody please help me find one?

How much does that cost from dell? (Remember tax and shipping) You could easily get that for under $2,000 including monitor, mouse, keyboard, transfer software, and OS if you built it. It only takes like an hour or two, and it's really not very hard to learn. Plus you can pay others to do it for like $20.
