I dont recall that happening anytime within the past ... ever? If it was going to get down to -20F, the temperature wouldn't be warm enough to begin with to even remotely cause a tornado. At MOST, the temperature would have been +30 and at that, there's simply not enough moisture in the atmosphere to make it unstable enough for a tornado. Yes, one needs a temperature change, but from 90-70 maybe, not whatever NY gets in the winter. I live right in front of Lake Ontario, so we get a lot of snow. We had a tornado watch because a warm and cold front were meeting, it was extremely humid that dat, and at the time of the watch, almost 45 degrees Fahrenheit out. It was supposed to get down to -20 during the evening after the cold front took over. And it actually only got down to about -2, with 40 mph winds. (My weather men are fucked over ) And no, the predicted "tornado" never actually happened. In facts the winds never got above 55. They died down a lot when the temperature started dropping from like 40 to 0 in about 3 hours.

I go through the homepage, take a quick glance at the news, if I see something new, and interesting I may read it. If not, I check my mod downloads and then go straight to the forums.

Can anybody recommend a good Socket 775 compatible Heatsink for cheap? (Like, under $50, or $40 is possible (my PC budget was $2,000, and I'm at probably over $2,100, but I have a hard time letting go of the really good deals I've obtained (1TB Hard Drive for $100, 64 bit Vista for $100, 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT for $150, etc.))) I would like it to be quiet, and do a good job cooling. The only reason I'm asking this is because I've heard that the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550's heat sink is shit, running at average over 70 degrees Celsius. Preferred Stats: Under $50 (ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OVER $55) (Under 40 is better) Under 30dBa (This is the first thing I'd drop if unable to find anything, noise is not a big priority for me. And not like over 30 would be loud anyway.....) Can Keep the CPU under 55 Celsius during a 3.0GHz overclock and under heavy load. (From 2.83) Compatible with my Core 2 Quad Q9550 Processor (Socket LGA775) and this motherboard (ATX Form Factor): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813128358 Blue LED's would be sweet..... Adjustable Fan Speed (Turn it up under heavy gaming, down under web surfing, etc.) From Newegg, and Free Shipping, otherwise keep price under $35.

Would these two things work properly together and fit in a 5.25" Drive Bay? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...0Media%20Reader http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16811993006 And if they're not, can someone please direct me to an External Multi-Media Reader, or a compatible 3.5" to 5.25" Drive Bay Adapter?

Will it modify or erase ANY previous data?

When my computer doesn't work.... Such as: Failing to boot up at all. (Crashing after IDE Detection, Crashing during CPU/ Memory Detection, Crashing during Windows Boot, etc.) Failing to pass the POST due to an overclock. Failing to initialize half my programs 9/10 of the times I boot. Crashes to due to a bad overclock after successful boot. Just plain sucks because it's old, outdated, etc. And there's a couple other things that have happened too, but these happen the most often.

EDIT: When you install Ubuntu, and you partition, does it erase ANY old data? (I'm trying to dual boot, XP installed first)

Will you still be visiting TGTAP when you're gonna be older?

How old are the majority of people on this site? Who's oldest, and who's youngest I wonder..... -
Well, theoretically, if everything went perfectly by the rules, non-Christian's wouldn't be able to get married either. Personally, I'm a reformed Christian, so I think it's OK, unless there's a couple that comes into a church and openly starts talking about how God is not real, or about how he's evil, or if they've done many evil things, then that's really just not right. And Christianity is more of a faith, than a religion.

Man, my computer fucking sucks, an old AMD Athlon 1.8 Gig, 64Meg Video Card, 1 DVD Drive, etc., and it has a 450W PSU. But that's also probably because we had someone build it for us. (Not Dell, HP, etc.) Why the 5400 rpm HDD and low speed DVD Burner? P.S., that processor is almost exactly the same one I am going to get. (2.83 GHz, not 2.66, all else is same)
-
No, what I mean is, as long as the developers and researchers are determined to squeeze a lot of horsepower in a processor, such fast processing speeds are possible. And we're getting there, the RoadRunner runs at over 1.2 PLOPS (1200 Quadrillion FLOPS)

Limits are human's way of making you think you shouldn't reach higher than they do. Yeah, like in 1985 when they said it would be physically impossible to have a CPU run at over 33 MHz.

Mainly right now, I jsut want to see it more like real life. Like, there are no schools, and only 1 church in GTA4. And the planes don't land or take off. I want to see more of a sims game, with more real life features, interior to every building, etc. And another big thing, I WANT TO SEE FIXED-WING AIRCRAFT. AND THIS TIME MANY KINDS. Like a skimmer, army jet, etc. And maybe you can even jack jumbojets from the airport.

Though Micro SD Cards can only hold like 8GB right now, I heard that possibly within the next decade those will be up in the hundreds of gigabytes range. But then what do we do? The theoretical limit for one of those is one terabyte. So what would happen after we get technology as high as it can do in a hundred years or so....

How well does Vista's 32-bit emulator work?

I'm not buying until this summer. Will Windows 7 be out by then? (Official, not beta) If it's not, should I get XP, like now, or should I get Vista? I absolutely LOVE XP, but i've heard many good and many bad things about Vista. But I'm tempted to not get XP, as it's almost 10 years old. Do keep in mind that either way, I'll be going 64-bit. So please compare the 64-bit versions, not the 32-bit.

Fuck yeah, I've been a Pats fan since I was 4. My Dad likes the Giants and my home team is actually the Bills, but they suck.

And you know what's a bit ironic, is that I have onboard video, but no onboard sound. An actual sound card.
