And if Rockstar did that the game probably would never make it to shelves. Especially in other countries than america.. because america lets go of a lot. And i agree, it's not a horror game. I'd rather see time spent on Ragdoll* and Nature.* When someone gets hit by a car, i don't want to see guts, i want to see their bodies flipping and twirling in the area like real life. I'm not into the pre-animated bodies being thrown everywhere. Take a look at Saint's Row, they have ragdoll and I'm 70% sure that Rockstar has already implemented ragdoll code.

I'm white, i listen to jazz and rock(screaming is my fave). And Officer Tenpenny is my favorite. Nobody beats Samuel L. Jackson.

I would definitely like to see this game take place in a setting like 2050. Rockstar is really creative, and as long as they didn't go too overboard with sci-fi, they game would definitely be new and fullfilling

I could see choosing a race and facial features like tiger woods and the godfather only if the game focused on a mysterious person who wasn't really the focus and didn't have any family ties like CJ. I would like it if you had a list of names to choose from... Like R* recorded like 30 sound clips of voice actors saying different names so they can insert the names where ever a person says their name. Bad idea?

they should bring back the hardware stores, not just hardware though... maybe kitchen equipment. Maybe a furniture store to put new things in your safe houses. Like animal crossings.

I hate not being able to shift the camera angle manually when you're driving around. I'm so used to that with San Andreas. GTA III could have used motorcycles. Drowning was dumb. Having no assets made the game boring. GTA III .... ALWAYS RAINING, that is the MOST annoying thing about it.

In an attempt to put this thread back on track: I want a mission where you can use a robot to do certain actions. Defuse a bomb, find a piece of evidence, put out a fire. Something random. P.S. STOP BICKERING AT ONE ANOTHER!!!! YOU HAVE NOTHING TO PROVE!!!! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW EACH OTHER!!!! And that's what really grinds my gears

Maybe a GTA IV trilogy where they take GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas and make prequils for each of them. How each player came to be in their own situations.

For the usual car dealer, you should be able to have 4 or 5 garages set up, and what ever is in each garage is a different car thats in your show room. So you can customize which cars are in your show room. It's nice to an infernus or a banchee spawn there all the time.

A) GTA has already been set in New York, named after "Liberty Island" in real life New York. B ) Rockstar has a license for GTA Japan, so it's a posibility. C) There has been a lot of talk to england as an upcoming location.

I agree that a car chase scene would be sweet going through a mall. And with everything going to destructible environment, it would be sweet to see a shit load of debris flying everywhere. http://www.rockstargames.com/manhunt/ That is the game R* already has set in "carcer city." I have my doubts that they would reuse that name. And through San Andreas, they were probably just aluding to the game Manhunt when the name "Carcer City" was read over the radio.

I definitely want to see 100% new. Nothing old, all new characters and themes to compliment their new great looking graphics. You will never see Liberty City again especially because you've seen it in three different games already. GTAIII, a mission in GTA SA, and Liberty City Stories.

I think he was too lazy to photoshop the 3 for playstation 3. And I believe they will call it GTA4, like GTA3 was not called "GTA Liberty Cityl" I do believe, maybe not this coming GTA, but maybe the following one with be set in Carcer City. The only thing that goes against my notion is how there is already a game by rockstar set in carcer city. am i right?

This topic is very racist and ignorant. It should be locked. I know its based on opinion and doesn't offend any specific race but we shouldn't be voting whether or not we want the character to be "white" or "black." I'm caucasian and I would want to see someone latino, indian, or asian to see things in a different dimension.

Something i thought would be interesting is first person view. I like 3rd person VERY much but it would be cool to see from the eyes of carl johnson once in a while.

If you yourself want to make "sence", you may want to start off spelling sense the right way just to be a little convincing I agree with rosenburg about working for other criminals. The point of GTA is... Illegal. Even buying safehouses and businesses aren't legal because you buy them with dirty money. Having a career forces the player to eventually have to do taxes and what not, and you know rockstar would never put that in the game, SO it takes away realism. Lastly, every game in the world eventually gets boring so don't sugar coat a game with "career" missions. The trilogy of GTAs all eventually get old, and there is nothing anybody can do about it. So adding career missions takes a step in a backwards direction in my opinion.

Rockstar definitely toned down the cop AI for san andreas, and they also UPed the car hit points from the other GTAs. In GTA III I swear your car you hit a speed bump and it would be smoking. The speed idea: In GTA, there are highways where cars drive much faster. AND about the speed LIMIT idea, I absolutely hated mafia for that reason. I like the fact that since the maps are getting bigger and bigger, that you can zip right down a main road about approx. 80 mph and atleast make it to the other side of the island in 2 minutes.
