Well, here the premium packet just costs 60 EUR more then the Core System. I can't say if you need a HDD, but if your taking Xbox live (for the exclusive content and all that other stuff live gives) you'll need a HDD. I'd say wait untill the 'elite' is going to replace the premium package, what should be pretty soon. BTW, a cheap desktop that sucks in games usually still costs more then a ps3. Simple.

Quad Core as recommended? That's a little high don't you think? A E6600 should do fine. And ATM all Quad Cores above 2.9 GHz cost above the 600 USD. Only 'ultimate' PC's have that. And I doubt that GTA IV would require DX10. Like I previously stated, it most lightly will run on DX 9.0 c but you'll just miss a few effects.

Cracking console games isn't that easy, and it's quite expensive (150 EUR here). So piracy for consoles is really minimum.

You can get a good mid-range PC for 1200 EUR (1560 USD). Before building you should unload yourself. Conroe isn't high-end. Just good mid-range. If you want, I can configure a good PC for you. Just tell me what's your budget and what you're mainly going to use it for.

There would only be 2 ways to get it for that price: -Second hand -Illegal Dunno how you'd otherwise be able to get it..

There is no such thing as slow graphics. And the Wii actually has more memory then a ps3 (but a weaker CPU of course. Far weaker). What mainly determines the fun is the game-play, not graphics. So I really can't see why the Wii wouldn't be able to play a GTA game.

Never And Command and Conquer is a good example. You can play it with a budget PC (with terrible graphics) but to really get it like in the trailers you need a mid-range to high-end PC.

I'm SURE that it will be ported to PC. As long as the game stays moddible lot's of people will buy the PC version, even if they already own the console one.

Those Crysis specs you gave are just made up by someone. Nobody yet really knows.. And that also where the minimum requirements. So with unplayable frame rates.

I can't imagine how it should live otherwise. To get energy something HAS to warm up (that's energy). To burn what ever they get for energy they still need oxygen. Everything needs oxygen (or nitro oxide) to do that. Not only living things, but also objects. But there might be something overrulling that concept.
