Mine, you mean? I say what needs to be said and nothing more.

As in "paving the road", yeah.

GTAOnline will be launching October 1st.

Don't you mean Saints Row 4? Well, I wouldn't mind having that Hotknife, but I can understand what you're saying.

That's one thing I always disliked about GTA: saved cars were one-off use only. I'm happy it's changing, because honestly all the "unique" cars I've collected in GTA IV and its Episodes are pretty much just sitting there collecting dust because I don't want to lose them. I don't mind microtransactions really. It allows me to buy DLC that I want and not get stuff I don't want. For example, say I want that military Patriot with roof-mounted machine gun but don't want the new "Jefferson" town car, know what I mean? But as much as it may pain me to do so, I'll be holding off on DLC for the eventual Game of the Year edition (because let's be honest here, GTA V has pretty much already won GotY ) that includes everything on disc.

If I remember correctly this was done in Mafia 2, it made for some tense gameplay trying to avoid the detection of the cops. Some people may not like this because it is entirely new to the series, but I feel it will really add a lot to the gameplay. It will give the game that edge, like you are really a criminal and actions have consquences in the game world. I'm liking the sound of that. Hopefully cops will be more sensitive like they were in Saints Row 2 and will pursue you if you drive recklessly enough and/or knock over fences, light poles, etc.. I'd also like for them to pursue if you run red lights (like in Driver) as well, but that might be a little too much for most people. Things like races and chases are definitely going to be much more tense and unpredictable, though. Edit: Am I reading the CVG page correctly, here? You can insure your car? Is this going to be the final GTA game or something, because at this point I don't know what they can do down the line for GTA6 to top this...

Damn, even I think this looks fun as hell and I rarely have interest in MP in any game. I'm most intrigued by this bit I read on Kotaku. Possibly the inclusion of San Fierro and Las Venturas, and maybe more, at a later date? And that crew cab truck that was shown in the desert race just became my favorite vehicle in GTA V. I can't wait to customize the shit out of it.

Official GTAV Website Update: Visit Los Santos & Blaine County
Trevor_Philips replied to Chris's topic in GTA V News
You're right, I totally forgot about Red Dead. And that road looks slushy too! Now the question is can we throw snowballs at people. San Andreas probably passed a state ordinance making snowball fights illegal. -

They did snow quite well in Red Dead Redemption, so I see no reason it wouldn't return in GTA V. -
GTA IV Complete Edition Radio Question
Trevor_Philips replied to Husky's topic in Episodes from Liberty City
^I hate to sound like a certain somebody to you, Black, but neither of those posts in any way answered the OP's question. To actually answer him, the exclusive radio stations only appear in the disc-based versions of the Episodes and replaces certain radio stations that were in the main game (e.g., Vice City FM replaces The Vibe 98.8). -
Pave is indeed technically an acronym (it's also applied to a Black Hawk variant, known as the Pave Hawk), but I don't recall exactly what it stands for right off hand. However when referring to the aircraft, it's officially written as "Pave".

The offoad vehicles, particularly the Toyota Hilux-based "Rebel", are what I'm most interested in. The Varsity in Saints Row 2 was based on the Hilux and it ended up being my second favorite vehicle in the game after the Ford Expedition-based FBI. But still, I've always had an affinity for muscle cars and the Sabre Turbo was my favorite until GTA IV introduced the Charger-based Dukes. You're right, actually. I missed the nose. My bad. Though the size of Trevor in the cockpit leads me to think its been upscaled more akin to the larger Super Stallion/Sea Dragon. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cb/BLT2_2-USMC-20070402.jpg

Is it just me or do those two strippers in the screenshot with Trevor look a little butch? I mean, I think a physically healthy (i.e., not an anorexic stick figure) woman is attractive, but come on... It looks like the returning "Sabre Turbo" is going to be a performance package upgrade to the basic Sabre GT this time. And considering the size of that military helicopter (it's a cross between an MH-53K Sea Dragon and CH-47 Chinook, for anyone wondering), I hope we can transport stuff around inside it.

I just don't feel such circumstantial evidence is enough to definitively say that they are back. Don't get me wrong, I like GSF and if they do end up crossing over into the GTA4/5 Era, awesome. But I remain unconvinced at the moment. We'll just have to agree to disagree for now and wait until mid-September to find out for sure.

I would think that the Rhino and Barracks OL would be considered the military's "gang cars" since those are what spawn when fighting them.
-
I hardly think Love Fist's logo on a couple of t-shirts constitutes proof that they'll physically appear in the game. Same goes for Candy Suxxx (though you'll have to point me to where she's been spotted in images or trailers, because I haven't seen her). The musician Crow, from the GTA3 Era, was advertised on a billboard in Alderney in GTA4, yet he didn't physically appear in the game.

BradyGames' GTAV Signature Series Guides Now Available for Pre-order
Trevor_Philips replied to Chris's topic in GTA V News
GameStop (my specific one, at least) is also offering the guide for preorder, though I don't know if it's the regular or limited edition (or both). I'll have to inquire next time I decide to drop to and aggravate the manager (a buddy of mine I've known for years) for a little bit. -
They wouldn't do that period, at least not in GTA.
-
That's basically what GTA IV's LC was. I really doubt Rockstar is going to give it yet another facelift so soon.
-
Don't worry, Niko, I'll still play GTA IV after V comes out. Occasionally. Once in a while. Maybe...
-
Vice City has been my favorite setting so far (whether GTA V's LS will change that, remains to be seen), so that would be my first pick for obvious reasons. You can criticize it, call it nostalgia, whatever else, but even today I have more fun playing Vice City and Vice City Stories than any other GTA. With that said, however, I'd also like to see what Rockstar can do with the American south. New Orleans, for example, is one of the US' more unique locales and can get pretty crazy, especially around Mardi Gras.
