  1. What the fuck Husky, you could've just accepted that the guy wants the topic deleted, and not got all high and mighty about it. Way to be a dick to someone who's actually on the forums right now. Believe it or not, mods are around, and more than happy to serve the finer members of this community.

*ahem* Klacid, i'll lock the thread. We don't usually delete threads unless they're in breach of the forums rules, but locking will stop people posting in it etc, so it won't stay bumped.

  2. No words can express my love for this thread.

Though I'm not on board with the whole 'eat a salamander's dick to cure a headache' homeopathy stuff, I'm all for consumption of balanced diets which contain natural things that are proven good for you. Green tea, for example, Garlic, simple fresh fruits and so on. Preventative medicine or whatever you want to call it. I'd rather eat healthy and get sick less often then eat McHorsemeat everyday and chug a bottle of pills when I'm shitting liquid.

I also find hilarious the stigma around cannabis. It's one of the most versatile plants on this earth, certainly moreso than timber (Cannabis was illegalised to protect interests of people high up in government's interests in the timber industry) but legalising it EVEN for industrial applications would hang a hugely immoral sign over the head of any government willing to implement it.

Plus shares in Domino's would go through the roof.

  3. Sounds like you've got the SCART still plugged in. Unplug them from the system and that should autoadjust itself then. If you've got a fancy TV, hit the HDMI button or go through your auxiliary channels till it pops up.

This happened to my bro, i was called in on tech support ^^

  4. You can get programs designed to find serial codes for stuff. One I totally haven't used in the past to totally not not pay for Windows XP licences after reinstalling it a bajillion times in called something like Jelly Bean Keyfinder.

A quick google gave me this list which should accommodate your needs somewhere down the line. Jellybean is in there too. :)

Personal usage, down with piracy, don't share keys, love thy neighbour, yellow snow, candy from starngers, et cetera.

  5. Eh, what? I don't understand. Am I the only one who felt a little.. I don't know, hollow when finishing the game?

    The core... the one who

wants to go to space. Says SPAAAACE a shitload... :/

idk if you play games in Dutch or English :P so they might have changed it.

    Video:

So yeah... Jace / Space... eh i tried.

  6. Hah tell me about it. I was paying around 6k. Then I ran a red light. Make it nearly 7. Mathematically, that means i'mma write my car off five and a half times a year. Never even had a single scratch or dink.

  7. Best I've come across is a UK computer parts distributor called Scan. These guys would take a bullet to the f*ckin brain to get your shit to you no time. Also, similarly a UK skate clothes company called routeone who sent me a free tshirt after I tried to order an out of stock item that was displayed as in stock, twice. :/

Worst I'd say was PayPal. Got my call routed halfway around the globe to someone who gave me false info, which equated in me eventually incurring overdraft charges. Fun. Close second here is Kodak. These guys brief all their tech support representatives that firmware and software are 'the same thing'.

Never had problems with Valve. The jury seems to be out but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

  8. You can go back chapter by chapter, but they were pretty beefy as it was. Had the opp. to play co-op with some friends and i must say it has been very well thought out. Bring a mic though.

  9. Also, once people start finishing the campaign, the co-op is pretty lulzy. Not great, and lacking the soul of the singleplayer, but good. Hit me up... Steam ID: MrLlamaLlama

  10. It's too epic for words. Knowing now what I know (on the penultimate chapter as we speak) I'd have hated it if I'd have known what was coming. It's too good.

Claims that it's 15hrs are untrue. I'd call it 8, 9 max for anyone, even the touristy players like me who listen to the dialogue intently.

  11. The IV showing up after reinstall is because the files were modified, and the uninstaller doesn't have the permissions to uninstall files that aren't exactly how they were. If you want your SA hud back, uninstall, delete the folder where your game was and all leftover files... and then reinstall.

As for the original problem, idk what that could be as I've never used the mod before.

  12. I think T2 would probably still mind if we used the music. However, I don't see turning it off as an issue, personally.

On the sending note, possible, yes. But I have shitty internet so DL'ing could take a while. (And uploading, for that matter) You could always stream it as a /torrent which WOULD be totally legit if we have problems. On another couple of logistics notes, it would probably be wise to share a savegame and work out who's doin what missions beforehand. Also custom clothing might be a nice addition. We have a video player plugin for the boards I believe, but not sure if this extends to pages orwut.

  13. Hmm. Just gonna throw some stuff out then.

    Patched?

    Bought over Steam?

Full reinstall (ie delete folders afterwards to get rid of potentially corrupt files?)

Frame limiter and frmae sync both oh in options? Your gfx might be refreshing the text at just the right wrong speed.

Also try vsync through your gfx drivers as a last resort.

If you're confident, try disabling a core on your CPU when you run the game. I won't tell you how...because chances are if you don't know how you shouldn't be. :P
