Yep - 360 version. I will try this again, obviously this must work. Whenever I try it I end up hijacking the cab instead of getting in the back. I'll hold the Y button the whole time. Thanks. Really? This could be the problem... I mean GTA IV is a massive game and the city is practically living. So much is happening at once even though you might not notice it. I knew the PS3 needed more RAM! Oh well I just hope I can get mine to work when I get it.

Nobody knows, but it most likely will I think. They would be crazy not too seeing as alot of their fans don't have consoles and play on their PC's. Anyway the first thing I will do is go on the forums when waiting for the game to install, then when it has installed I will start the game and hope it doesn't freeze like some people have experienced when playing GTA IV on their PS3's. If I do have one of the good copies, I will play a few missions, explore the city and try out the new driving. I honestly don't know what I will do if I get one of the bad copies because I can't return it as I got it shipped from my brother from the UK. I will most likely end up waiting until the summer when I'm back in the UK and check if they've solved the freezing problem and buy another copy. Fingers crossed!

I read about this all over the Internet, it seems is this happening to alot of people. I don't get mine till at least Saturday and I'm really worried about this happening to mine as I also have a 60GB PS3.

Don't be so harsh. Some people have actually recieved their pre-orders early or the store has broken the release date by mistake.

EXACTLY. This is what pisses me off. We have to wait here while n00bs get the pleasure of playing while we sit and wait! Thats unfair, ive seen youtube videos and they got me really excited but Take Two commanded to block those videos. Whats wrong with you guys? Your just assuming this guy is an absolute tosshead. You don't know what kind of person he is, maybe he doesn't even know when the game is coming out and just went to ask about it. Chill out. Err... I don't know. But something in the PS3 has 256mb of ram Before you start judging the PS3, don't worry. All my games run so smooth and games don't slow down when alot is happening at once. EDIT: I'm not actually 100% sure about the whole ram thing, I'll look it up now.

Nope, no in-game XMB (yet). I heard they can't do it right now because of the PS3's RAM (256mb compared to the 360's 512mb). Kind of a disadvantage for the PS3 because you can't check your inbox either without quiting the game, it does tell you though when you get a message or someone signs in. Some games have it though so I don't see why GTAIV can't.

Stop showing off Oh well thats a shame, it would be cool if a patch came out though so it picks random songs of your music list and plays it through a custom radio or it had the option so you could select a playlist from the PS3 to play through the custom radio. Then I would have a reason to put music on my PS3!
